We made dinner reservations here prior to a concert at the Park Theater. We arrived about 15 minutes early, and were seated immediately. It was restaurant week and there was an event at the Forum so the restaurant ended up being packed by the time we left. The noise volume is pretty high when it’s busy, and the seats by the window are drafty, that’s why I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere. We had the poutine to split and they brought a few slices of focaccia with oil. The focaccia was good and we would have gladly had more if it was offered! The poutine had a brown gravy and pulled pork; my dining partners loved it, I thought it wasn’t well seasoned, and definitely under-salted. For the entrees, we had the gnocchi bolognese (the gnocchis were huge! Bolognese was good but not as good as the sauce they used the last time we were here), the lamb chop, and the salmon (with a beet risotto that was interesting, but didn’t eat like a creamy risotto). We had time for dessert so split several. The German chocolate cake was the best of them; tender cake, delicious frosting, nice toasted coconut and caramel topping. The carrot cake was good but seemed like it had just been taken out of the fridge, so was a bit hard and we would have loved a larger layer of frosting between the layers. The pumpkin in the cheesecake was very tasty, it was the bottom layer under the cream cheese. They have a nice list of seasonal cocktails, a wide variety of beers and wines (including orange wine) by the glass and bottle. They also have some mocktails. For 4 people the bill with tip was about $100pp. The food was very good and came out of the kitchen relatively quickly.

Park & Elm has been one of our favorite spots in town for years, and I’m finally getting around to sharing how much we love it. From the very first time we visited—when our daughter was just a few months old—we’ve been met with nothing but kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality. The staff are always so welcoming (even with little ones in tow!) and they somehow manage to make every visit feel special. Our daughter has grown up loving their warm focaccia bread—it’s her absolute favorite—and now that we have two little ones, we still cherish our visits to their cozy patio under the heat lamps. The atmosphere is just perfect: relaxed, friendly, and full of heart. The cocktail list is unbeatable, and the bar team crafts some of the most creative and delicious drinks around. The food is consistently divine, with seasonal menus that always surprise and delight. And the attached market has been such a gift for those of us who live downtown—stocked with beautiful produce, meats, cheeses, pastries, beer, pantry goods, and even ice cream sandwiches that our daughter can’t get enough of. We can’t recommend Park & Elm highly enough. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a wonderful place to gather, eat, and feel at home.

Just had an absolutely outstanding night at Park & Elm -- we cannot speak highly enough about it. Service and food both easily 10/10. Fresh focaccia, which was absolutely unbelievable. Perfect contrast of crunchy and soft, a hint of salt. So good. Lobster arancini, one of the evening's specials, with a red pepper sauce. Super fresh and savory. Brussels sprouts with bacon, which I'm assuming is candied. Very fresh, and decadent without being overbearing. My wife got the ricotta gnocchi with roasted pumpkin, pepitas, Tuscan cabbage, sage brown butter, and balsamic. I've been craving a high-end burger, and theirs did NOT disappoint. Perfectly seasoned. We finished with a few rounds of cocktails. Hemingway Daiquiri (plantation rum, maraschino liqueur, grapefruit and lime juice, touch of simple syrup) Devil Wears Prada (tequila, velvet falernum, lime juice, orgeat, egg white, Malbec float, absinthe rinse) Pisco Sour (Pisco, lemon juice, egg white, bitters, simole syrup) Park St Sour (Irish whiskey, Jamaican rub, black strap rum, ruby port, house sour, blackberry cordial, aromatic and tiki bitters). Would recommend 100% percent.

They just opened, so hopefully the kinks will be resolved. No way to contact proprietor on website. The main thing was with how hard it was to park and then logistics of once you have patronized the deli for eat-in lunch. After parking, you are now committed to eating there. However, if you had a child or a wheelchair, you would have great difficulty or have to eat seated on the cushions for the restaurant waiting area.

Very warm and dry in establishment. Restrooms a bit dirty (flooring, handles, and wall of soap dispenser). No changing table option in either restroom.

Not accommodating for kids needing high chairs or boosters (none),no conventional height tabletops in deli section (only counters with counter height chairs), no offer by establishment employees to sit in restaurant dining for an accommodation. Not sure where would place your wheelchair to eat or park an accessible motor vehicle. Please note for those requiring accessibility, there are heavy doors without automation option and the outside door stops at 90o open.

Great food quality and gourmet food brands - packaged limoncello Gelato, packaged passion fruit, hazelnut mousses, personal-sized fabbri amarena cherry panettone, and sweet cornichon with lifting case amongst items sold in grocery. EXCEPT raspberries in case were moldy. Check any fruit/produce that you plan on buying from the case.

Pastry filling good, pastry dough tasted a bit off (unsure if it was a commercially-produced flavor issue or ingredient quality issue), pastry tasted fresh. Really enjoyed all our sandwiches and items from the deli case. Great sandwich...

A month ago I go to the deli to just pick up some potato salad from the deli case. After walking in and being very pleasantly greeted by the hostess for the restaurant, I stood in front of the deli case for 10 minutes never once seeing another worker. Another customer and myself just stood there. We never saw a worker in the deli area, and I left. (without purchasing anything). I know there is a new lady on that side of the business and maybe it was a bad night for her.

Fast forward to this evening. I think maybe they just had a bad night so I will try again. As I walk to the deli, there is a manager and a chef outside on sidewalk smoking. Not a great look, but lets continue. I am again warmly greeted by 3 restaurant staff at the desk. There is a worker behind the deli wrapping something in boxes. I stand in front of the deli case staring at the potato salad I wish to purchase. He turns around a few times and sees me , but never acknowledges me. A few minutes goes by, someone pokes their head out the kitchen door at me. After more time goes by, it becomes very clear neither of these 2 are going to wait on me, nor are they going to find the person that should be in the deli side of the business serving customers. Again I leave, and vowed to never return.

I will say when this business for opened they had a younger dark haired girl that was very helpful, pleasant, and waited on customers. I wish they would...
