Frankies Donuts and Pizza — Restaurant in City of Niagara Falls

The staff: The staff went above and beyond what I expected when there were complications with my order. I won't go into details but they took care of it better than I was expecting from any restaurant, and I thank them for it. The staff were very friendly to everyone I saw coming in, and were very swift with taking and delivering orders, even during a rush of people.

The food: The pizza was absolutely delicious, albiet a little on the oily side (but hey, still delicious and if you wanna be picky just dab it with a napkin) and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The hot chicken fingers were also amazing,just the right amount of spiciness (similar to Frank's red hot sauce) and good size. The donuts here are great. I got the red velvet donuts, and they arent light fluffy airy donuts, they're rich and dense and just one is enough to satisfy any sweets cravings (and if they're cold, I recommend you put one in the microwave for 20 seconds because they are amazing that way).

The environment: It's a rather small little diner, but I prefer the small cozy atmosphere to a large place anyway. There's individual booths, and stools at the counter. Very comfortable seating, so if you decide to dine-in you'll be just fine.

This is our second time in New York and we definitely had to get some pizza before leaving. We stopped at Frankie's on our way from The falls. We called in our order and picked up. We were also happy to see that they had donuts available as well so we grabbed a few for breakfast, We had the blueberry, salted caramel, and red velvet. We ordered the 1/2 tray cheese pizza and 20 wings (1/2 BBQ & 1/2 Mild lemon pepper) to say that our taste buds were happy would be an understatement. The wings & pizza were phenomenal!! The cheese pizza was the perfect amount of cheese with a crispy crunchy crust that was perfectly golden. The wings my goodness! The wings were juicy yet crispy with the perfect amount of sauce. The sauce flavoring was very delicious & well combined. In my family we have this saying that if you want good wings you go to the "hood". So anytime we find fantastic wings regardless if they're from the hood or not we call them "hood wings". So Frankie thank you for giving us our "hood wings". Best donuts in the area . But the resturant could use some cleaning. It was dirty, cluttered, items that should of been the fridge were out . Signs everywhere as soon as you walk in " dont ask for free food " " dont ask for change" you name it the sign was there. But that's what you get when you set the standard so low. Maybe take some pride in " your " business and set the standard higher. Or instead of putting hand written signs be kind . Is it really that bad to give someone a donut or a cup of coffee that's 12 hours old ? But i guess losing a couple of bucks would break the bank . Pay it forward goes a long way .Kindness goes a long way . But seeing how dirty the resturant is and signs all over kind of shows that offering that 12 hr. Coffee would break the bank . Surprised its still open for as long as it has been. Things never change. But I guess when your standard is low youll settle for anything. So much for a good business head. Do better. Be better. Because the only thing you got going for you is the donuts.
