If you’ve been to La Parilla (the restaurant previously occupying this space), pretty much all the decor is the same, however the food is better now, if much more low key. We went last Friday and there was live music playing on the riverside patio so the place was packed. Definitely due to that, the service was good but they could have used a few extra hands to serve food or just hang around the patrons because there were a ton of us! Honestly the crowd seemed to be the same as the previous times I’ve visited, a mixture of locals and tourists enjoying the gorgeous riverfront sunset and more than a couple of drinks. We were seated promptly and I had a virgin Vodcolada (frozen cherry pina colada but non alcoholic because I wanted to skip the headache) and unsweetened tea (there was no sweet tea option, maybe later 🤞🏻). For an appetizer, calamari, and we ordered our food at the same time: a galley burger for me and grouper tacos for my partner. I think we were both surprised at the smaller portion sizes but by the end of the meal we were full. My Galley burger was definitely the better of the two meals, the grouper was a tad dry, even if they were going for crispy. The galley burger was just about perfect, even though I had to use every inch of my cloth napkin to keep my fingers from being greasy. Even so, we tried a s’mores cookie for dessert which was very good. As far as room for improvement goes, I would like to see more entrees, as all the “entrees” were salads or handhelds unless you ordered an appetizer as an entree (which there were plenty to choose from). I don’t mind the smaller portion sizes portion sizes, but I did feel like the Press Box and G.S. Steamer’s menus had a wild night and that’s how this little menu came about. We’ll definitely be back to...
Read moreMy family and I are staying at a nearby hotel and stopped in for dinner this weekend. Started off okay we were sat in the patio near the water. We ordered our food and it came out pretty quickly. Unfortunately I have to say that the waitress was very short with us and once our food came out I began to eat my grilled chicken club and half way through I realized the chicken was not all the way cooked the center was raw and rubbery. I did not mention this to the server bc mistakes happen sometimes. We were going to pay as usual and move on with our night. When the bill came the initial receipt said $ 66 and some change. My husband put his card down the waitress took it and upon returning we were given a bill that read $129 with our card information on it meaning she charged us double what our bill was. I brought the receipt to the waitress and showed her it was wrong and she acted annoyed and said it didn’t go through yet. She took the bill and our card and walked away before I could finish talking to her. When she returned with our card for the second time it read 69$. No apology, no explanation. Just a have a good night and she was gone as quick as she came. My husbands card has two pending charges now. 129$ and 69$. As someone who has worked in the industry the lack of customer service and empathy towards the customer was shocking. The waitress acted as if we were the problem. Not to mention I consumed RAW chicken and I didn’t bother her about it.
Also after reading several reviews all negative ones mentioned how bad the service was. Restaurant needs new staff that’s for sure!! The waitress are rude and...

The food is a standout—thoughtfully prepared, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Whether you’re there for a casual lunch or a sunset dinner, the menu offers something for everyone, and each dish is served with care and quality you can taste.
What truly sets Dockside apart is the setting. Nestled right along the water, the views are nothing short of spectacular. The laid-back yet vibrant atmosphere makes it an ideal spot to unwind with friends, enjoy a date night, or simply soak in the beauty of the harbor.
One small note of feedback: while the bar service was friendly and efficient, we did find the mixed drinks to be a bit on the lighter side. A little more balance or potency would elevate the beverage experience to match the excellence of the food and service.
A special shoutout to our server, Keziah, who made the experience even more memorable with her warm demeanor and above-and-beyond service. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our visit—an absolute gem!
