Super chill space. I do wish it was a larger but at the same time, we didn’t have a problem getting a table for 4 for lunch at 2pm on Saturday. Once people find out how good this place is though, the struggle will be real.

The menu is pretty modest, but every selection literally sounds super delicious so expect to spend a few extra minutes deciding what to eat. There were lots of figetty type interactive toys to keep us busy while we fought with ourselves on what to order.

Pro tip: Get the special devil eggs as an appetizer . Just do it. They know what they’re doing and I am convinced each offering has gone through a few tastes tests. Trust me on this one and try something new. My only regret is sharing.

The Carrot Mary: I haven’t seen any concrete reviews on this drink, but I took a leap of faith and tried it anyway. You can immediately tell all the ingredients are super fresh. None of that pre-bottled garbage. Whoever created this drink has an amazing palate and they have something unique. I recommend asking for a spicy!

I ended up deciding on the open faced Philly cheese steak sandwich with locally sourced sourdough bread for lunch. That bread is dangerous. I soon found out they make and sell the same bread next door along with other flavors. There goes my keto diet. Haha

I’m just visiting from Syracuse but this will for sure be a staple whenever I am in town. Highly recommend but at the same time not wanting to share...

Man I want to give this place 5 stars so bad! The food was amazing! My best friend and I went today to eat lunch with her 2 year old , right away I could tell there wasn’t much space which was fine no big deal. But as soon as our order came, which we had already been there for maybe 30 minutes enjoying our appetizer, a group of people came in and sat at the table next to us which I could see would make the space tight. When we got our meal I cannot tell you how flabbergasted that I was when I took two bites of my meal, and literally had the waitress come and ask me if I was ready for the check. I literally took two bites of my burger, and my friend didn’t even get to hers yet. Before I could tell her that we weren’t done eating, she cuts me off and tells me that she’s going to grab us to go boxes. We were enjoying our time and experience up until that point, and as a business owner myself, I know that businesses need to accommodate any Customer especially when coming with a child. This place is not child friendly. They didn’t even ask my friends two year-old if he would like a drink or gave us a straw for him. We definitely left there a little bit upset and feeling like we were rushed out. Really really sucks because I would have been a regular because they had so many different vegan options and the food was amazing. Definitely could use some better customer service to...

Truly one of the best places in the north country to grab a bite, or drink. Some people are just good at what they do, and the staff at Twisted Carrot take that to the next level. I've lost track of the number of times I've been and never had a bad experience.

For food, I highly recommend experimenting with the appetizers, with an emphasis on the daily deviled eggs special and the moo moo dippers. Frequently, their specials are hard to pass up too as they aren't afraid to be creative, and quite frankly excel at doing so. If nothing else sounds appealing, my go-to option is the ribeye. But don't take my word for it, find out for yourself, you won't regret it!

The bartender, Patrick, is an absolute legend. Consistently quality drinks that pack a punch! Even when I'm unsure what to get, I'm always met with a recommendation that never disappoints.

I only called out Patrick by name, but the rest of the wait staff are just as great! Always friendly and very in tune to check in at just the right times.

My one critique would be around the wait-list. Being such a high quality place to eat, it's busy a lot of the time and they only accommodate waiting outside (not so great when it's cold). If they could take a cellphone number to call or text when a table is ready so we wait someplace a bit more comfortable, that would be an extra cherry on top!

10/10, can't recommend this...

SO GOOD!! My girlfriend and I are from out of state and were on our way back but needed lunch and chose this place on a whim - the best place we could have gone. We got beautiful cocktails with flowers in them that came out very fast, our appetizers came with them, and then our main courses were out immediately upon finishing the apps. All of the food was amazing, and considering we tried each others food and drinks, there wasn’t a single thing we didn’t love. The atmosphere was also great - very calm, and our server (I believe their name was Aubrey) was super kind and attentive. We spent a lot because we got two cocktails, an appetizer, two sandwiches, and dessert, but it was very worth what we paid and fair pricing for the portions and quality. We will definitely be making the two hour drive to eat here again and explore the area.

We got the recommendation from the border officer when we entered US from Montreal. We ordered Take a diver to share and a lamb burger with salad as the side. Loved the scallop and fried brussels sprouts, so tasty!! The sea scallop was just about the right tender, and the fried brussels sprouts were just about the right crispiness. 😋The lamb burger was delicious as well. Among the two, I loved Take a diver more! While sitting outside was lovely, the hygiene was a bit of a concern as we saw a few flies flying around our dishes. We understand it's hard to assure the streets are clean etc., to make the outdoor sitting experience nicer. It'd be nice if the restaurant can help find a way to improve the situation.
