Dream Town Deli — Restaurant in City of Rochester

I recently visited this deli with a craving for a BLT. Having had positive experiences here before, I expected a similar quality of food and friendly service. Unfortunately, my latest visit was disappointing. The staff was unfriendly, and my BLT sandwich was subpar. They were out of rolls, so I had to get a hero instead. Initially, I was excited about this change, expecting a good sandwich, but I was severely disappointed. Despite requesting crispy bacon, I received the opposite. Authentic big city bodega, outstanding. I've been to bodegas from New York to Los Angeles and these guys nailed it. Friendly, great food, fun snacks from other countries. Extremely impressive. Great addition to Rochester. Yes, it's not cheap, but it's excellent value for money. How are they expected to pay the rent on that corner in a brand new building? Ordered lamb over rice plate. Came completely plain. No green pepper lettuce tomato onion white or hot sauce. Called the store. First guy told me they gave me the wrong order. Was going to call DoorDash and told me to call back. I waited 20-25 min and called back at least 10 times. Nobody would answer. Finally some rude guy picked up and had no idea what happened said the other guy “went inside” whatever that means. He told me “I’m out of tomatoes what do you want me to do?” Absolutely ridiculous.
