Albunn Coffee House — Restaurant in City of Rochester

Albunn is such a treat! It has a warm inviting atmosphere with beautiful Yemeni decor and middle eastern music playing, plenty of comfy seating (as well as outdoor seating), and great staff. There is free WiFi, a restroom, and free parking in one lot if you tell the barista your license plate. They have incredible fancy pastries from a local Ukrainian bakery.

The signature Albunn latte was delicious, it tasted like a middle eastern twist on pumpkin pie / pumpkin spice! It wasn’t too sweet because it was sweetened with honey. The strawberry macaron had perfect fresh chewy texture. I also tried some sort of crunchy chocolate pastry with glitter on the outside and mousse on the inside and it was SO SO good, so crunchy! The hazelnut cheesecake tart is rich and sweet, so decadent. The mango dragonfruit refresher was also good, tasted even more mango-y than Starbs’ refreshers. The potato knish was good, it was like seasoned mashed potatoes inside a thick chewy croissant.

Al Bunn Coffee House impressed us with both flavor and efficiency. We ordered the Spanish Latte, Biscoff Coffee, Pistachio Coffee, and a variety of their baked sweets — everything was excellent and served surprisingly fast.

The Spanish Latte was smooth and well-balanced, just the right amount of sweetness. The Biscoff Coffee was rich and comforting, with that signature cookie flavor shining through. The Pistachio Coffee stood out for its creamy texture and nutty depth — a must-try if you’re into unique flavor profiles.

Their baked sweets were fresh, not overly sugary, and paired beautifully with the drinks. Whether you're after a rich treat or something light to nibble on, there's something for everyone.

On top of all that, the service was quick and friendly, which made the experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you can stop by for a quality coffee break without a long wait.

What an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and beautifully designed—perfect for relaxing, catching up with friends, or getting some work done. The coffee is outstanding, full of flavor and clearly made with care. The food is just as impressive—every bite is fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Their desserts are a dream: rich, decadent, and perfectly balanced without being too heavy.

The staff is friendly and attentive, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find a place that truly gets everything right, but this coffee shop has nailed it. I can confidently say it’s my new go-to spot, and I can’t wait to come back!
