The Arbor Loft — Local services in City of Rochester

The Arbor Loft was hands down the best decision we made in terms of vendors for our wedding. From the beginning at the inquiry stage, they responded quickly and gave us all the information in a digestible manner. The loft itself is a beautiful space. It's a venue where you can decorate as much or as little as you'd like. The exposed white brick, the huge industrial windows, the perfectly appointed greenery that's already there and the adorable trendy modern furniture all make a great setting for whatever the event. The bridal and groomsman suites are amazing!! There's a photo opportunity at every corner. I loved how all my photos turned out!

The Arbor Loft staff are just wonderful. We worked with Maddy first who got us to the contracts stage. She was super helpful and responded to all of our lengthy contract review comments. Then we worked with Carly all the way up until the wedding day. I cannot express how thankful we were to Carly. She responded to every email we had in less than 48 hours (I cannot say that for any of my other vendors). No matter how small or big the list of questions were, we got an answer. As a stressed out and type A bride, I can't even begin to stress the importance of receiving an answer in a reasonable timeframe. Unless you do one of their planner packages, it's important to note the Arbor Loft is not your wedding planner. They are very good however at asking the questions that make sure you are on track and have the minimum you need for a wedding day. On the day itself we worked with Autumn. She was so calming and even helped me with a fussy bustle that none of my bridesmaids can figure out. I would not have been able to do my first dance without her!

For catering we used the Loft's Folk catering. They had such an interesting menu and we received such good feedback on the food. One of my picky friends event complimented on the dinner. They presented the buffet beautifully. For late night we picked a couple pizzas from swan dive, which delivered straight to the venue. This was the best food item for me on the day. The vegan pizza was soooooo delicious and I was grateful for the extra food since I didn't eat much during the day. Since Folk and Swan Dive were associated with the loft, everything was on one invoice and it was so easy when it came to settling the bill. Carly also kept us on track with payments which we were so grateful for.

At the end of the wedding, the staff packed up all of our decorations for us based on an inventory list which was so helpful!! Especially when you're exhausted at the end of the night!

Some tips for anyone engaged and getting married at the Loft. Attend one of their open houses. It's super helpful to see the types of furniture, linens, and rentals they offer. Don't buy anything that the loft can provide either for free or a reasonable price. The open house also gives you the vibe of when there are people there. You can also sample food from one of their caterers. And it's free! Take advantage of the furniture that's in the loft already. They have really cute lounge pieces that you can use for a photo op. Use the greenery they have in the space. All of these items can be moved to wherever you want if you just ask. The bridal suite is huge and a lovely space to get ready, use it.

One suggestion I have for the loft is to have a bar sampling night. We did not get to taste test any of the drinks they offered for signature cocktails or any of their other alcohols. I'm sure they did a great job with the open bar but I think a drinks night will be super fun for everyone.

I absolutely will recommend working with the Arbor Loft team at any of their locations. We had full faith in the team, this is what they do every day! Thank you Arbor Loft :)

Words almost don't do the Arbor Loft venue and team justice. My wife and I had the incredible pleasure and honor of choosing Arbor Loft for our wedding in November 2023 back in 2021.

Our biggest challenge was to find and connect with a venue in Rochester, NY while we live afar in Washington, DC. Out of the 3 or 4 venues that we had virtual calls with - we knew that by our last meet and greet that Arbor had the complete package from the space, the team, and what was available to us.

As intimidating as it is to dive into choosing your venue, Arbor made it easy working through all of the finer details via well-organized packages detailing all the services available. We really want to highlight Maddy Parrinello meeting us for the first time and Erika Crane + Autumn Desmarais who intimately worked with us to develop and carry out the conception for the day of.

The space itself was a perfect match for our modern-industrial vision. The space feels initially small, but that subtle intimacy allows for a great ceremony space and opens up to an alluring and special dining experience for guests. The transition of turning the ceremony space into a large dance floor was flawless. In addition, the separate bride and groom suites that were available to us in the early morning were a match made in heaven - HUGE spaces for our 20 person wedding party and, more importantly, comfortable to fit all the bridesmaids and family for getting ready and make-up.

Now, Erika, the Director of Client Relations, was the absolute perfect person to take care of us. Her meticulousness attention to detail, scrupulous knowledge of the space and Arbor services, and thoughtful and gracious care she offered us as soon as we met her to the last minute of our time at Arbor Loft is quite frankly unmatched. To have someone like Erika on our side proved not only comforting, but invaluable as we sought to cultivate our wedding day through all of our asks, detailed timetables, and consistent messages.

We also want to recognize Autumn for getting us through our wedding rehearsal by keeping us on time and helped us organize the tempo and pace of our ceremony. As the wedding party walked out to our guests, Autumn kept us cool, calm, and collected, but also was a great hype woman helping us nail the entrances of me and my wife.

To be able to consistently think about the best day of our lives amongst ourselves and our wedding guests (from inception to reality) with such elation and satisfaction is a fabulous testament to this Arbor Loft...

ABSOLUTELY LOVE ARBOR LOFT! The people at The Arbor Loft are absolutely amazing, we would have had a train wreck of a wedding if it wasn't for them. From the second we stepped foot in Arbor Loft we loved the team members; they go above and beyond for their weddings and it made all the difference in the world. When we toured Arbor Loft as a prospective wedding venue I expressed the things that I didn't like about the venue to the team members and when we received a proposal from them they included all these different things we could do or rent to make the vision that we wanted come true. They absolutely set the ball in motion for our perfect wedding, they helped guide us in picking perfect vendors that were going to make our vision come true and help us select decor and pallets that would pull the whole day together. Working with the Arbor Loft crew was like working with your best friend, the vibes were always fun, light hearted and overall a worry free time. Whenever I felt worried about something I would reach out to someone at the loft and my worries would immediately be relieved. I also highly recommend getting a day of coordinator at Arbor Loft, Erika was ours and we were absolutely obsessed with her, she made the day and the days leading up to the wedding so enjoyable; without her we literally wouldn't have even had a wedding, she helped guide me through so many decisions and took so much stress of the day off. We had 8 different vendors involved in our wedding, which was a lot to juggle and Erika did this beautifully. When it came to the day of the wedding I had zero stress because I had complete faith in all of our vendors and trusted Erika completely. Because of her the day went off without a hitch, she coordinated the hell out of that wedding and because of her we can honestly say we had the most perfect wedding we ever could have imagined. We highly recommend the Arbor team for your wedding, seriously, if you want a stress free wedding experience work with this amazing group of people. We could go on and on about how amazing they are and there really are no words that can describe what a joy and pleasure it was to work with this group.
