The Electric Grinch has a cozy interior with a dark green color scheme and warm lighting. While the place was bustling due to a street event, we appreciated their accommodating staff once they noticed us. However, the small kitchen proved to be a bottleneck, as it took over an hour for our simple order of two burgers and fries to arrive.
The fries were a disappointment, with a promised signature aioli that was nowhere to be found. While there was some garlic seasoning, it was unevenly distributed. The Electric Grinch burgers were overstuffed, with a soggy bun that crumbled easily. The tomato jam was overwhelmingly sweet, and the burger itself was overly seasoned, tasting more like a meatball. The flavor profile was dominated by the sweet jam, making it difficult to appreciate the other components.
While the staff was friendly and apologetic about the long wait, the food did not meet our expectations. The Electric Grinch may be worth another visit on a less busy night, but we would definitely avoid the Electric...
