Herbie's Burgers — Restaurant in City of Schenectady

I had to cater a rather large company meeting and I thought Herbie's (Schenectady branch) would be a fun idea. I placed my order a 4 days before I needed it, so as they had adequate time to plan and prepare. The day before I had to add a small amount to the order, so I gave them a call to explain that there would be 2 orders that needed to be delivered together through the meal delivery service (Mealeo). The employee assured me he would communicate the addition to the original order and both orders would be delivered together. The day of the order, I received a phone call from a rather rude Herbie's employee seeking clarification that i only needed the small addition, and not both orders. I calmly explained that i need both orders and I had called 24 hours prior to make sure it was still possible and to make sure they get delivered together. The employee proceeds to give me a remarkably rude attitude that there are only two of them and that it would be another 45 minutes. I verbally acknowledged that I understand accidents happen, but I was pretty disappointed considering I had communicated everything clearly and was trying to be considerate with calling 24 hours in advanced to make sure everything would be okay. went into this location around 2 weeks ago because i love the one on lark st and decided to try this one. upon entry a man with dreads screamed "welcome to herbies". im talking, full blown screamed at me in the middle of the day. as i waited in line to order, the same man with dreads started to yell at the girl making milkshakes. personally, it was intimidating when he screamed at me "welcomingly", it was far worse as he screamed at his coworker. it went on long enough that i was so disgusted with the way he was speaking to this girl, that i lost my appetite and left. probably for the best as the man with dreads didn't have his hair up or out of the way in the slightest. ive never received hair in my food at lark st, nor do i have to worry about it. didn't even order and it was already a concern. decided to give it another try yesterday. the same man was there. as i walked in, i felt the negative energy. he looked so unapproachable and hostile to the point where it made me uncomfortable. last time i checked, eggs weren't on the menu, yet i was somehow walking on eggshells. i left right away and will not be coming back. get rid of the big body bully and...

Ordered triple burger and DBL vegan burger. For almost $15 for the triple.... No cheese only just onion and it had an extremely tiny amount that looked like shaving thrown in before taking out new onions. And last I checked have worked smash burgers n food service for decades.... I've never served nor would allow any server to pack a 3 smashes that were not one burnt, black charred, and looked like they are bits just mushed and overcooked to hold together. Manager wouldn't refund bcuz it was "delivery", but would make a new one IF I DROVE THE GARBAGE BACK.... that's a financial scheme in the world of upstanding business practices and the Better business bureau. I could hold all three patties and there was so little meat and shrunken more from being over cooked, I could watch tv perfectly unencumbered through all of them.... I threw them outside on the pavement... They didn't break besides crusty burnt grease off the edges. Considering they each patty is skinnier than the straws and not even close to whole patties of meat.

Better off starving and save your money. Not how it use to...
