This Wendyâs feels like a scene straight out of a chaotic comedy movieâbut not the kind anyone would enjoy. Today marked my second experience of bad and outright unprofessional service from the employees at this location. I came in for lunch, only to find the front-end employee completely preoccupied with DoorDash orders. I stood at the counter waiting for at least some acknowledgment, but for 15 whole minutes, she didnât even glance in my direction. Not a single âIâll be right with youâ or any sign that she cared I was standing there.
Frustrated and feeling like my time was being blatantly disrespected, I finally spoke up, saying, âIs anyone serving in the front? Iâve been waiting here for 15 minutes.â The staff appeared more concerned with drive-thru and online orders than serving customers in-store.
To make matters worse, one of the kitchen employees overheard me and decided it was appropriate to insult me in Spanish, suggesting I âchill outâ and stop âruiningâ othersâ day because I was allegedly having a bad one. Little did he know, I understand Spanish. When I confronted him, he admitted he was talking to me, and things escalated into an argument. His dismissive and threatening tone was completely uncalled for. All I was asking for was basic customer serviceâan acknowledgment or update, at the very least.
The experience left me baffled and infuriated. Waiting 15 minutes for service in silence is already bad enough, but to then be insulted by a staff member is beyond unacceptable. Itâs astonishing how such blatant unprofessionalism and disrespect could go unchecked in a workplace.
I plan to contact the owner to ensure no one else has to endure what I did. This place is more like a circus than a restaurant, and I wonât be setting foot in this establishment again. If you value your time and respect, Iâd recommend steering clear of...
Read moreWe started by saying we were going to order the 2 for $3 items. The cashier wrang in the larger breakfast sandwiches and had to call their manager Alejandro to correct everything. Even he was confused by our order. 2 sausage on biscuit, 2 sausage on English muffins, and for the 3rd order, 1 sausage and one egg both on English muffins but without any cheese or butter. It must have taken 10 minutes to ring in the order. When we got it, 2/3 were wrong. There were sandwiches with bacon and cheese, one just bacon and another with bacon and egg. Randomly, there was also an order of hashbrowns in one of the bags. We were the only people unfortunate enough to be there, so it couldn't have been someone else's order. Alejandro and the cashier were nowhere to be found when we went to the cash register to switch out the incorrect items. We called out for several minutes before the cashier finally emerged. She didn't seem like she wanted to correct the mistake but was told to, probably so we would leave. After all that, the English muffins were stale, and the biscuits were slightly...
Read moreTonight, I went through the drive-thru, and when we got to the speaker, we didnât hear anything. We said âhelloâ several times in both English and Spanish but got no response. After waiting about five minutes and seeing cars ahead of us being served, we moved to the window to ask, thinking the speaker might be off.
At the window, we were told they couldnât take our order there and had to go back around. We explained we had been waiting with no response, but the manager came with a rude attitude and insisted they never serve at the window. All I wanted was someone to acknowledge usâeven a âplease holdââbut we got silence.
After going back around and ordering again, there was still no greeting, no thank you, just silence. The experience was so rude that I honestly wish you couldâve heard the way she spoke to us. She claimed she wouldâve heard us if we had said hello, but I can assure you we didâconstantlyâfor five minutes. I donât blame the employee at the window; he was just following orders. But the managerâs attitude was completely unprofessional, and because of her, I wonât...
