I don’t think any words that I write will do this place justice. Yen and the Cake Bar team are always delivering unique flavor combinations through moist cakes, tarts with the best crust recipe, creamy milk teas (Hojicha milk tea with oat milk, thank me later), and gorgeous custom cake orders that are as creative as they are delicious. The staff are as warm and welcoming as they are helpful, making for a consistent and wonderful visit every time. My husband just surprised me with a champagne flavored birthday cake with Vietnamese buttercream (think tangy and not too sweet) and it was better than what I used to get growing up in Seattle! What I love is that while everything can be sweet, it’s not overwhelming and overpowering the flavors of the actual treat. Cake Bar even offers pizza cupcakes once in awhile if you’re looking for an adventurous dessert spot! We are there or ordering for pick up online weekly because we never want to miss Cake Bars frequent rotation of fresh and fun drink and dessert offerings. First impressions are everything, as this was our first time patronizing your establishment. I was excited to see the beautiful desserts on display as well as the different drink options on the menu. Unfortunately, the woman who took our order (blonde hair with a tattoo on her neck) was incredibly rude and cold to us from the very beginning to the end. She made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her the entire time. Slamming things around as she was making our drinks, she then gave them to us without so much as a "thank you", "have a nice day", or even a "goodbye". Not one word. Perhaps she was having a bad day, which in this case, I understand and would be willing to give you guys a second chance. However, if this is her normal demeanor, she is just hurting your business's image. I spent nearly $16 on two bubble teas, which were not good at all. Bland, watered down, and just overall disappointing. I'd love for the opportunity to turn this one-star review into a five-star review someday. Until...

Poor customer service, the workers do not know nothing about the pre order time ( I went there asked for a design cake they said will take 3-5 days just pick and lets us know the next day when I picked and show them the design they said sorry we are fully booked till next week) so if you need a cake from them maybe you have to order before 2-3 months its feels like a doctor appointment.

I expect a bad response from you with this bad customer service you deserves lower than one star also just to keep the customers know about the part that you said I didn’t left any information about the order that I WAS THERE THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU CLOSE AND I TEXT YOU THE NEXT MORNING I DO NOT THINK YOU FULLY BOOKED OVERNIGHT WITHIN 12 HOURS.
