SINBUN Salt City Market — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

I ordered via Doordash. I heard about this place because my dad saw it when it first opened and he was curious. I finally got to trying them. I got the pizza bun combo, the churro bun, and some loaded fries to split with my dad. Everything was in nice boxes taped shut so there were no issues and they were labeled accordingly. The loaded fires with the housemade cheese sauce were spectacular! I was a little sad that through delivery they got soggy, but what can you expect fries don't deliver well. The boneless wings that were in the combo were delicious not too spicy or too bland. Just the right balance! The pizza bun was good. Great texture, but nothing special about it really. I kinda wish it had a little pizzazz. The churro bun... it was so delicious oh my. I wish instead of the chocolate sauce it had some of the house made cream cheese frosting, but it was absolutely fantastic! I can't wait to see what other fun creations come out of this place! Overall everything was super fun and delicious and definitely priced accordingly. Between my dad and myself it was one filling meal and we will absolutely be trying other options on the menu...

Enjoyed these buns tremendously! Such unique sweet and savory bun creations. Though I enjoyed trying all the buns, my favorite was the Apple Crisp Bun. The bun was filled with fresh sliced apples! The brown sugar and cinnamon flavors were the perfect compliment to this bun! Each bun can be shared with multiple people. They do get a bit messy, but how much fun is it to savor the last few licks of the house made icing sticking to your fingers! They steak and cheese bun was very good. I think I would of enjoyed it a bit more if I warmed it up before I tried it. I can't wait to try some more of their savory options such as a Buffalo chicken bun and pizza bun The owners are fantastic people. Had a great conversation with them. So kind and passionate about their product. It shows with every mouthwatering bite. Right now they are baking out of the Salt City Test Kitchen and are taking online orders for pick up and online delivery services. These really have lived up to hype. I’ve tried a few of their buns now (sad to say I missed the Apple Crisp, but I always keep my eyes peeled for when they bring it back!) and I’ve never been disappointed. The big draw for them is both the size and the concept of savory buns. They’re definitely big enough to feed at least two, probably even three people per bun. I’ve tried two savory flavors so far, both the BLT and the Pizza went above and beyond my expectations (the pizza especially, who knew cheese went so well with cinnamon bun dough?). It’s not just the toppings that make the buns, but the flavor and fillings they add throughout. As good as the savory are though, my consistent favorite has been the Coffee Cake Bun. I look forward to seeing what new flavors they come up with (and maybe a vegan/dairy free bun in the future?). Definitely...
