I don’t usually leave reviews—and rarely are they poor, but my experience here calls for words to be said. I came in during a moderately slow time on Friday, there seemed to be a good amount of staff behind the counter. With two people ahead of me and two behind, I watch them receive great service. When it was my time to order the person at the register barely spoke to me or looked me in the eyes. I’m not entitled to their attention, but it was odd considering I had a different impression on how other customers were treated. I ordered the mustard chicken plate with Mac and greens. My food came out 25 min later cold and the chicken was dry as bone. The mac was overly salted and didn’t even taste like Mac. The collard greens were extremely sour. The cornbread crumbled to sand. Tried Soulutions for the first time and had a good first impression. I thought the amount of food was good for the price, the service was a little slow but great. The owner himself personally came and asked us how our food was. He delivered food to a large family with kids and he even let me try a couple things to help decide what I wanted. We got the fried chicken with Collard greens, Mac n cheese with fire sauce on the side and also a side of the yams. The collard greens and yams were very good, I even got more to take home. The chicken was cooked well, crispy outside and tender inside but the chicken lacked flavor, the Mac was cooked well also but also lacked flavor. The customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE I waited in line for 15 minutes before I was acknowledged then waited 30 minutes for a burger and fries and In that time frame I watched 2 employees both concentrate on getting orders plated and another employee who sat and did absolutely nothing. I was told 4 separate times that my order would be ready in 5 minutes after the 30 minutes I was asked what I was waiting on then they proceeded to make my burger at that point my hunger was gone and so was my patience I am very disappointed in my experience today being as through I’ve worked years in customer service and food service I know that the wait was not due to business it was due to poor communication, lack of customer service skills and absolutely NO TEAM EFFORT ‼️ I will NOT be returning if I could give 0...
