Each car in the drive thru took about ten minutes to place their order so it took a little over 30 minutes just to get to the speaker. Once you get to a certain point in the drive thru, you can't get out of line because of a curb and you can't backup because more cars are behind you so you're stuck.
Once I got to the speaker, nobody said anything for a solid minute so I asked if I could put in my order. The guy immediately answered and said nah, give me a minute I need to get organized. Several minutes pass but at this point I have spent half an hour locked in line and have nothing to show for it. Eventually, someone sticks their head out of the cashier window to see if they are done for the night and they realize that there is a line of cars waiting.
I finally was able to place my order but the entire time the guy kept having to delete and replace things from the screen because he couldn't figure out the system, so the process of just ordering some hamburgers turned into a multi step check and review.
Once I got the order in I pulled up to the only working window (the first window was closed for repairs) and again wait for someone to come and check me out. I could see at least four employees talking and that there were zero customers inside the actual building. After a couple more minutes (again not exaggerating) someone comes to the window to take my card. After getting the card back several minutes pass and the cars behind me started backing up so I was asked to move forward while they finish cooking one of the hamburgers.
While waiting for my food, at least two other cars were able to get their orders completed (or probably just drove away once they were able). Eventually, someone from my car got hungry enough to walk up to the window and ask if the food was ready. She was told that the some of food was still being cooked but it would be out soon. When she asked for the food that was done, so some of us could eat she was told that actually all the food is ready now.
It took an hour from when I was locked into the drive thru to when we finally got our food.
All of the fries were room temp and one of the sandwiches was...
Read moreHonestly, this is the WORST wendys I've ever stepped foot into. Been here on multiple occasions as it's the closest food place to where I work. On numerous occasions, I show up and the door is locked to get in. Then you get stuck in the drive thru traffic from hell. No exaggeration. Last week I came in and noticed the manager sitting on his lazy butt playing on his phone while the order line was out the front door. You'd think if he cared enough about a business he runs, he'd be up giving people a hand. Nope. And when his "break" was over, he went into the back room office to do some more sitting/playing on his phone. Does corporate just not care about this moron or establishment at all? I mean, I know it's "Sewercuse" and all, but it's so close to Destiny that you'd think they'd give a shit about the store. Sad, very sad.
Gave them another chance against my better judgment today (9/6/2024) and ordered a baconator. Literally has 2 slices of bacon on it and the fries are ice cold. I spent over $15 on this "meal"... I'd expect it to be made properly for that kind of money on "slow fast food". Unreal.
Gave them another chance today 6/23/25. I swear, none of these people care about their jobs. And Wendys corporate couldnt care less about complaints either. Ordered a meal just now, fries are ice cold. Ive reached out to Wendy's corporate multiple times to let them know just how much their people suck here and they send me an automated reply every time saying they will escalate to proper people. Same Wendy's, same crappy service. Oh and the feel like temperature today is 104° right now. Think they'd open their front door for once? Nah. They'd rather you sweat in vehicle and sit in their drive thru line from hell that takes an hour to get through. I really wish corporate would do something. Like fire every single crack/coke head that works there and start fresh with new management that actually cares about...
Read moreYoung lady very disrespectful and one of the managers Condoned the actions and would not speak to me or talk to her about her actions! I had ordered 3 milkshakes to go and after young lady made 2 of them, the machine ran out of cream, I had already emphasized that I had to take them a distance and didn't want them melty! So as the young lady asked for a refill bag for machine, no one ever gave her it and she had asked several times! I then said to her "Baby! don't seem like no one paying you any attention, and I don't want them melted,(after waiting already a while) she made an Ugh ! sound and then said these things take a while! In which I understood...... I told her yes! I understand that but I've been waiting a while already! And are you going to give me fresh shakes and she said NO Ugh! I DONT LIKE PPL like her! Uuugghh..... Talking to her Manager and the rest of the crew! About me! I asked if she was talking about me and she said yes! I told her she doesn't know me and that she works with ppl in a customer service way and I hadn't done anything wrong and she was being rude for no reason! I even tried to express to her that it was a teachable moment and let's start over by an introduction, so it could end favorable for the both.... Not workable! Plz teach these young ppl some skill sets when dealing with ppl, they truly need it, and I understand sometimes others are rude to them but in this case I wasn't and asked for the manager and she wouldn't come to the front to deal with it....... One young lady eventually came but she wasn't the young ladies manager, she was coming on for the next shift! I was in teaching for nearly 20 years and own my own business and understand all aspects but this young lady was sickening with her bad attitude! Even the other customers said...
