Joe's New York Style Pizza — Restaurant in City of Tonawanda

I specifically ordered a pizza with oil and garlic in place of sauce as I am allergic to tomatoes. The employee taking the order then stated so you want our white pizza. I specifically stated that I wanted an oil and garlic sauce in place of the tomato based.sauce, Not the specialty white pizza. What I received was a specialty white pizza which was not what I ordered. When I called to explain - the employee snapped back at me that there weren't any tomatoes on it. I agreed that there were not any tomatoes on it and attempted to clarify but the employee reiterated her comment that it didn't have tomatoes on it. I again attempted to explain that I ordered a pizza with a base of oil and garlic. She snapped back at me and stated they didn't make a pizza with an oil and garlic base. I asked for the owner and was told he hadn't returned to the establishment. I tried several times throughout the afternoon but to no avail. Had I simply been informed that the shop couldn't fill my order as I wished, I could have ordered from another establshment or chosen another selection. Needless to say I was charged for a specialty pizza which I did not order. Only 3 slices were eaten as no one wanted ricotta on their pizza. Unfortunately, I won't likely be ordering again. Also, I asked for a square cut pizza which it was not, instead I was told they made smaller slices which amounted to the same thing, which it is not. I did think the crust was...

I came in an hour and a half before closing for 2 slices. It came to $8 (relatively big slices) All they had were pre-sliced Cheese and Pep and Chicken Broccoli pizza. I figured I would try them both. So I grab a soda from the fridge and asked for 2 slices (had a cobo deal 2 slices and drink for 6.95) the girl who rang me up said bc i didnt ask for the deal I wont get it ( I asked after when my total said 10 and some change. decided not to get the soda at that point (back to 8 for 2 slices) a few minutes go by and i get my pizza I asked if the had p3epper flakes I was told all their toppers had been put up since they would be closing soon. So I sat down to eat and my pizza was cold and stale. Ive heard so many good things about the place i really wanted to try it but it was far from good. i will blame it on my self for going so late and give them another chance. but for anyone else. DO NOT GO AROUND CLOSING TIME! I already knew they were a bit pricey but the service there was what really got to me, who puts stuff up 1 hour and a half...

I called them up and today her how they served us RAW chicken and she put me on hold...then I got a chance to tell her how they served my PREGNANT wife this RAW CHICKEN, which she unknowingly ate three pieces, and then the lady hung up on me!!! That is when the wife and I showed up to confront them and to show them the chicken. She gave us an attitude and made placed the blame on the doordash delivery for it being raw. That was extremely immature and pathetic to pass the blame to everyone else and the whole time they never once showed an remorse or even a sense of them learning from their own mistakes. We informed the local health inspector to show them the chicken and even they were amazed at how raw it was. Even more upsetting was that it happened to a pregnant woman and a customer that used to be very supportive of this location. No longer will we ever order from here or refer others to here again. Shame on them. Avoid this place like the plague because if they cant cook chicken, then they probably arent keeping up with...
