Met a friend here (State St, Watertown, NY) for lunch on a Saturday. The food was good; better than some other fast food choices. I did regret my order a bit, but only because there were more "bang for your buck" options that I overlooked. As for service, the person behind the counter was friendly enough, but this particular Wendy's has a kiosk on the very small counter, too. It's almost like they want you to choose between human interaction and awkwardly ignoring the human to punch your order into the screen. This leads me to the atmosphere. This Wendy's was clean, I'll give them that, but it was also tight. It seemed like they only grudgingly built a dining area, preferring instead for you to order at the kiosk, get your food, and hit the bricks. As for the bathroom, I didn't use it because you needed a key (granted, we weren't in the best part of town) and it was attached to a two foot long piece of PVC. Read moreWe had a terrible experience at this Wendy’s location. First of all, within 2 hours of eating here my 7 year old son started to complain of stomach pain and nausea. Within 15 minutes of getting home (we had a 3 hour drive) he violently vomited and was sick the entire night. He was perfectly fine before stopping at this Wendy’s. If your sanitation practices are poor, resulting in an innocent young child becoming violently ill, shame on you all. Second, upon entering my 4 year old was a bit loud and unsettled probably because of all of the driving. The woman behind the counter was very unwelcoming and overall unpleasant. If you’re not happy with your job and/or working with the public then find another job- your choice! We plan to be driving through Watertown in the future and I know one place we will NOT be stopping at and it’s this Wendy’s location....
Read moreMy wife placed an order on the mobile app to be delivered the driver sat out front of the house for a minute and as I was waiting to get the food they drove back to Wendy’s on State street where they discarded the food over $30 dollars worth. I drove there and told them about the situation where they told me to contact door dash even though it was ordered on the Wendy’s app. I then had to head back to the house because I had left my phone there expecting them to remake the food I paid for + fees. Nope they told me I would have to pay for them to remake the food I already paid them for. The door dash support was on hold with Wendy’s support and she gave up trying to talk to them so she offered to collect more information about me to submit a refund request. I declined and said I would contact Wendy’s support...
