El Poblano Bar & Grill — Restaurant in City of White Plains

Authentic tasting Mexican food. My sister and I visited this establishment on the evening of 10/11/2019. I ordered chicken huaraches. I don’t eat cheese or sour cream. I ordered the meal without cheese and overlooked the “cream” on the menu. The order arrived and I informed the waitress that I don’t eat cream and didn’t know the meal had cream on it. She then proceeded to inform me that in order for them to remake it they would have to charge me for an additional plate. I then explained that I can’t eat cream. And she proceeded to say that she could use the same base and charge me for chicken. She stated that she would get charged for the meal if it had to be redone. I then explained that I didn’t see it on the menu and that it would be an inconvenience for the customer to have to pay for two meals and only eat one. She then said she would have to speak to her manager. The manager approached and she explained it to the manager. The manager hen proceeded to say that the meal can be remade. I made a mistake but I didn’t appreciate the fact that I was being forced to pay twice for an honest mistake. I’ve never heard of something like this happening at any other restaurant. I have been ordering from this restaurant for at least 6-7 years and it's always the same order. Recently they have had a lot of new colombian staff who do not seem too familiar with mexican dishes. They have no also begun to pre-prep food so there is no way to make changes. I wanted to order some "tacos dorados" with no onions. They dont usually come with onions but in my more recent orders they have. They said there was no way to take it out because they already prepare the food beforehand. They said they don't accommodate to any allergies. I then had to pull a Karen and ask for the manager. At first they said there was no manager on the shift - which was an outright lie and i knew it. then they hungup on me and i call them back and they're like ohh sorry we spoke to the owner who was in the kitchen and he said they cant do it. They can't make just one thing right. There have been several times that I'd order a cemita with just silantro, cebolla, carnitas and salsa verde and well they decided to put mayonesa in my cemita, when I had told the lady several times not to. Well I let it slide, but again few weeks ago I called for a cemita de milanesa de pollo con todo, and my surprise when I got home..!!!!! Only 2 slices of avocado, not slice properly. No onions, when I had told the lady I wanted a lot of onions, they forgot to put mayonesa and papalos and no quesillo.!! and was overcharged. When I went in the next day, I asked the girl why haven't they added onions to my cemita atleast and her response was "well, here, we do not put onions to our Cemitas" with such attitude.
