SABROSITO CAFE EXPRESS — Restaurant in Town of Greenburgh

I’ve been coming here for way longer than I should. The food is decent sometimes but the service, oh my lord.. these women are so nasty. The lady charged us for sitting (involuntary tip for two for dining in that only flashed at the register for a second - and many reviews mention this and they don’t tell you even tho “they’re supposed to”) and tried to charge for a large coffee when we ordered a small. My wife’s empanada was severely undercooked. The lady making my coffee was not listening and I asked for no sugar and she gave me no milk instead then had the audacity to slam my top on the register and then pour me milk when I told her it was not what I asked for. She then tried to put the top back on my cup that was literally sitting on the money counter and touching stuff. Why would you even think that is ok? Food safety would have flagged you! And then on top of that Colombian coffee is good and their coffee always needs some help. Every other Colombian place I’ve been to has good coffee. Just disrespectful and horrible people. Quite Honestly, This is the most AMAZING Spanish Food I’ve ever had, and I NEVER write reviews but this place Deserves It! I found this little spot online by chance one day, and just their menu made my mouth water, so I had to skip delivery and go there myself to get some Flounder! And WOAH, I have not even HAD Flounder until I’ve had it at Sabrosito’s, Hornito’s, whatever name they prefer! The effort they put in to every dish and cozy intimate atmosphere keep me wanting to try more and more. This place is the Real Deal. The Flounder literally melts in your mouth, the Sweet Plantains are glazed and warmed ever so perfectly, the Rice Pudding is creamy with a specific sweetness not to be forgotten, even the Cheese BreadS Galore have me hooked! This is absolutely a place I will be going to at least Three Times a Week from now on. Not to mention the COLD OATMEAL drink!!! Its like having an Oatmeal Milkshake and it is Wonderful. I can’t wait till my next order. Its getting to be Addictive, but it is just SO Fresh Too! wife and i had a coffee craving so we found this place asked for a spanish coffee “cafe con leche” and a double shot of espresso figured they couldn’t mess up a simple coffee order, wrong, had to explain to the person taking the order how to make the coffee order, i shouldn’t have to tell you in detail how to make a simple espresso and a coffee with milk, to top it off they over charged us for coffee that would have probably tasted better from a dunkin d or mcdonalds, responding to your reply of knowing how to order, first i didn’t ask for a regular coffee i asked for a cafe con leche which is basically shot of espresso and milk similar to a latte, on my second order i asked for a double shot of espresso, there’s really know other way to order it, maybe next time before you start accusing people of not knowing how to order you concentrate on listening and getting the order right, and it doesn’t matter if it’s the finest coffee from where ever, if you don’t know how to brew and prepare it then you will get what you served me which was sub par, one rule of thumb to go by is customer is always right even if there wrong, and learning to take...
