Banchan dishes are great, my favorites were the kimchi, fish cake , and seaweed! They give you a good amount per dish. We got the same amount of banchan that one person got at another table. I have no complaints about the amount, just so you all are aware of amounts. I came here mainly for the table bbq. Also so you are aware when you get there, you have to make a minimum of two bbq orders to cook on the table. We ordered the bulkoki and chicken table bbq. They were about 27 dollars each. One order of bulkoki is what you see pictured. The chicken was same amount. So it’s enough for 1-2 adults. If you don’t have a big appetite or have kids with small appetites, two orders can be enough for up to 4. You will also get one small bowl of rice per bbq order. As far as taste...(I’ve lived in Seoul Korea and tasted many kbbq at restaraunts) ...meat was tender but lacks in flavor. They give you sauce and red pepper paste which did help. Service was great. Food came out very quick. She was always close by and attentive to the cooking, serving food, and keeping up with dishes and cleanliness of table. I did use my $50 Groupon and the full amount was honored despite some other reviews I saw about them not doing so for the full amount. The only reason it did not get more stars is the lack of flavor in the marinatedbbq meat. I will be going back if in the area to try other things...
Read moreI’m Korean and have enjoyed the food here in the past, but it’s no longer the same. I DO NOT recommend WASTING MONEY here. I visited on 3/31/24 and was deeply disappointed in the quality of the food. I don’t really know what to say other than that none of the dishes was cooked properly: seafood pajun pancake was cold, oily and tasted like it was cooked on a cold skillet that was brought to temperature - inedible. I sent it back. The two other dishes were equally inedible: codfish stew broth tasted watery and wasn’t hot - just fish floating in watery broth… actually disgusting for $23.95. The pork and tofu stew was also cold. Why? The pork and kimchi cabbage was tough - it should be braised and tender. Simply unacceptable at $28.95. With a bottle of sake, I paid $87.59 with tip. The food was seriously inedible - we ate none of it. When I disputed the charge, the owner didn’t accommodate a refund. Really terrible. I feel robbed and very angry. The food here does such a disservice to true Korean cuisine. Korean food is flavorful, rich, absolutely delicious when properly cooked. AVOID THIS PLACE - don’t waste your money or your valuable...
Read moreThis was by far the best resturaunt experience I have ever had. Before I talk about the absolutely delicious food, I have to commend the staff. It felt like I was eating with family with how sweet and attentive they were. This was my families first time eating Korean Barbeque and the staff was kind enough to explain to us how the food was supposed to be eaten and what everything was. Thankfully, the food was of the same excellent quality as the service! The table side barbeque that we had was absolutely delicious!!! I reccomend this resturaunt more than any other that I have been too! If I could, I would give this more than 5 stars.
Update: I went back here Last night with some friends and my brother and the food was just as good, if not better than the first time we dined here. As always, staff was extremely kind and attentive as the last time. The food was beyond delicious and I already cannot wait for the next time I take the trip down to eat here....
