It is a pretty restaurant with lovely Persian artwork on the walls, and it is actually easy to miss even if you're walking by it since it's inside an apartment building. The food there is wonderful, and so is the service.

The bread for the table is warm pita served with a creamy tangy yogurt dip and a spicy herby yummy sauce made with jalapenos, herbs, walnuts etc. It's hard to stop yourself from eating! For appetizers, we ordered the grilled shrimp, which were juicy, perfectly cooked, and delicately spiced and served with a super good jalapeno feta cream ๐Ÿ˜. We also got the kashk badenjoon, which was a warm eggplant dip topped with crispy onions and cream of whey, and it was smokey and delicious. We also got the marinated pickles that we had as a side with our mains. They're some of the best pickles I've ever had, and the cauliflower in it is my favorite.

For our mains, we ordered the Chicken Koobideh Kabob to share, and we replaced the saffron basmati rice that the dish came with Shirin, which has candied orange zest, barberry, pistachio, and almonds. The Chicken Koobideh Kabob is flavored with saffron, super juicy, smokey, and charry, and so good! Mom said it's the best chicken she has had in a while, and after the first bite asked when we can go back cuz she definitely wants it again ๐Ÿ˜. We were stuffed by this time but decided to sneak a peek at the dessert menu, and mom wanted to try the ice cream, which had saffron, pistachios, and rosewater. We asked the server if it was possible to get just a single scoop, and they happily obliged, and it was so good, and the perfect quantity we were looking for! We left as two very happy and very...

We always have the most extraordinary dining experience at Medi Bistro. From the moment you step in, you are transported to a world of authentic Persian flavors, scents, and hospitality.

The appetizers are an absolute revelation, especially the Mirza Ghasemi and Maast Musir โ€“ each bite is a burst of surprise that leaves you craving for more.

What may truly set Mediโ€™s apart is their cocktails. The fusion of Persian elements with mixology are each a stroke of genius, taking you to a delightful journey along the rich tapestry of Persian flavorsโ€ฆ to a symphony of tastes, perfectly balanced and utterly captivating. You must not leave this place without trying oneโ€ฆ

Mediโ€™s commitment to authenticity extends beyond the food, to the very essence of the dining experience. The ambiance, the decor, and even the presentation of the dishes reflect a deep appreciation of Persian culture and art. The owners donโ€™t serve food here, they serve happiness, delight and hospitality, in its most authentic Persian fashion.

In a city known for its diverse culinary scene, this Persian gem stands as an embodiment of Persian artistry and culinary finesse, combining the most authentic Persian flavors with a touch of mixology magic, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. In my book, it's not just the number one in the NYC area; it's a culinary masterpiece that sets the bar...

This is perhaps the best Persian restaurant in NYC area, far surpassing other contenders (Ravagh) and pretenders (Sofreh), and a fantastic addition to the Westchester County culinary experience. Food is authentic Persian, sourced, prepared, and served exceptionally well, with variety and choices that will keep you hungry, and desiring to come back... Service is exceptional and welcoming, and owners and management are as proud, delightful and warm as the food is. I am writing this review after my third visit, and astonishingly, EVERYTHING went well! I changed my order to my own preferences combining food items from 3 different dishes, only to see the owner come forward offering even more exciting options, helping us to discover and pair delicacies and wine options that were not even on the menu. They go an extra mile to see customers smile. We were all craving to come back even before we left our table.

In short, your search is over, if you want to combine the best of Persian cuisine with greatest wine and cocktails western hemisphere can offer, in an elegant and upscale establishment......

We tried Medi Bistro for the first time after finding it by chance when searching for a local Persian restaurant nearby Tarrytown. Medi Bistro is located in the corner of a large parking garage in downtown White Plains. We actually missed it when following the GPS directions and had to drive around the block again. There's no street parking so the adjacent garage parking was convenient and they will stamp your parking ticket. Kelly the hostess was so friendly both on the phone when I called to reserve a table and at the restaurant. She welcomed us as this was our first time there. She explained the menu and the various Persian menu options with recommendations. We ended up choosing the Shirazi Salad, Kashk Badenjoon, an eggplant appetizer, Barg Kabob and Lamb Shank. The food was delicious, nicely spiced and flavorful. The restaurant has a fresh and warm decor and nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

First time visiting office in this building because of work - by the time I made it downstairs for lunch the cafeteria was already closed so I ended placing an order for take out at this restaurant. First of all, it looks very nice, perfect maybe to go with a group of friends, relatives or co workers Even if the place was empty when I entered, with only one couple at a table (it was after 3:00pm) they kitchen was still open. I ordered a chicken gyro, just because I really wanted to have a sandwich that day ๐Ÿ˜‚ It came with two sauces and fries - I liked everything except the chicken (maybe the flavor Im not sure what exactly I disliked, just not my type of chicken) Other than that, they fries were really good, the veggies very fresh, the sauces really good too ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I will definitely visit again to try some other dishes and to take pictures of the place :)
