Loved. I spent a semester in Athens and my experience at Greca brought me right back. I went with my parents for my birthday recently and it was exactly what I was looking for. To start we shared the fried zucchini, one of my favorites, a hummus plate, and the octopus - which was some of the best octopus I have ever had. Octopus is hit or miss with the texture but the one here was absolutely perfect. For the main course, we all shared the meat platter which was full of unique flavors, the moussaka - a staple, and the shrimp Santorini. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially paired with the baklava old fashioned. For desert we had the baklava and baklava cheesecake, which were both amazing but I especially loved the cheesecake. The staff were great and must have overheard it was my birthday because they brought the desert with a candle and some small glasses of a type of sweet wine. Only note was that I ordered some more pita for the platter but it didn’t come until we were already done eating. Amazing experience overall and will definitely go back when more family come to town. 10/10 do recommend.

If you live anywhere even remotely close to Greca, you have to make this a regular place to eat. If you don't live close by, you have to find some excuse to drive by/through White Plains. I wish I lived close - I would be here for lunch and dinner, and then brunch - every damn week. This food is the best Greek food I have EVER had...and just some of the best food period. It didn't occur to me to even take any pictures until I had already started on dessert, Ekmek Katafai, which was fabulous, and a huge portion. The chicken soup, avgolemono, amazing, packed with flavor, served piping hot. Even though I had to eventually leave, I took an order of grilled vegetables with me. It was a huge order of thick, meaty slices of vegetables grilled and seasoned to perfection. I may need to move 😍♥️

You need to try everything on the menu here at least once, lots of different portions of food for any type of appetite, family style, small plates, mains, gyro and fries. The Greek honor and respect their food by bringing out its natural flavor, along with exceptional pairings! One-of-a-kind craft cocktails. The staff is warm and welcoming, as they say, enter as strangers, leave as friends. Update: Ordered catering today for my company and worked with Sam and I was so so so happy with everything! They were on time, everything was hot and fresh and so flavorful. I cannot thank Sam enough, he was such a pleasure to work with! You guys have to try their food it is insanely good and their service is even better. THANK YOU SAM!!

Greca Greca Greca…..

It took me a lil while to post my last experience with this shady establishment, that’s faker than a $3 bill. Where to start?!?!? Well for starters they do not offer employees a family meal and all staff only gets 20% off. But that’s not if you’re good with the kitchen politics, which management is fully aware of for free food smh (Super Tacky). Staff doesn’t even get a chance to taste the food for description and sale purposes, that’s how cheap and money hungry they are! Then management speaks fowl of all employees, with everyday gossip and shade. I have to say even the guests who visited were as well. So be careful!!! So if you’re not a young naïve male with a substance abuse problem and work blood sweat and tears, you better act accordingly or you’re no good to them! So I’ll say this; funny how you are terminated from a job, with reason of a bad review; the most extreme being that you allegedly threatened a 60 yr old washed up manager. Let’s be real! No one wants to threaten a bitter old lady and I never did! What threatened her was my strong presence, and I’m not a minion. I bent over backwards always checking up on her and cheering her up, leaving me extremely exhausted and sick of hearing how she’s better than the restaurant. But I’ll say this, I got fired for not speaking at all. Yet, the underaged hostess can get wasted while working New Year’s Eve, while her mom picks her up, and she can’t even answer a phone call ?! So yeah, I’m INSULTED at how unprofessional and petty this establishment has been in my experience. I’ll just let this...

The food at this Greek restaurant in White Plains is truly exceptional. Some of our favorite dishes include the grilled Mediterranean octopus, which is perfectly cooked with warm fava, balsamic caramelized onions, and crispy capers. The sesame feta, pan-seared and topped with sour cherry preserves and candied walnuts, is a delightful blend of flavors. The crab cake, made with Maryland lump “blue” crabmeat and served with a black-eyed peas salad and remoulade sauce, is another standout. The Avgolemono soup, a traditional chicken, egg, lemon, and orzo soup, is simply divine.

We’ve had many company events here because the atmosphere is so amazing. The service is outstanding, with Nick and the rest of the staff always making us feel welcome and ensuring we have a fantastic experience. The location is great, adding to the overall charm of dining here.

Tonight, we went for a drink and had a wonderful time. Nick recognized us and was very welcoming, making the experience even better. We ended up being the last guests, and they had to do overtime for us, which made us feel a bit bad, but their hospitality never wavered.

The drinks, especially the Greek Martini with cucumber vodka, are also top-notch. This place is a true gem, and I can only highly recommend it for anyone looking for an excellent...

Well, the oddest piece of architecture and real estate in White plains has a decent restaurant inside it. There's a lot to be said when the sign says Mediterranean food and it's basically greek. Be prepared for a lot of stairs and heat if you go for lunch especially on warm sunny days. It's very modern. The menu is small and limited but there is a lot to drink and a decent wine selection. I guess if you're a sophisticated eater you might enjoy yourself. There are some excellent appetizers and some great main courses. Lunch is reasonably priced and dinner is out of control. The help is kind and pleasant and since food is cooked to order it does take some time to get to the table. It's not a quiet place it's loud. They do an absolutely fantastic business at least from the night that we were there. It's a great place to take a date. There's a nice party room downstairs for up to 30 people and the bathrooms are clean. There's nowhere to park that's for sure, for free that is. If you're in town at one of the hotels or a business person in White plains or a nearby town, it'd be a nice place for lunch and dinner. It's expensive so bring a lot of money. It certainly worth a try but nothing to speak about. It's at least worth a try. Be prepared for very rich...
