Greca Greca Greca…..
It took me a lil while to post my last experience with this shady establishment, that’s faker than a $3 bill. Where to start?!?!? Well for starters they do not offer employees a family meal and all staff only gets 20% off. But that’s not if you’re good with the kitchen politics, which management is fully aware of for free food smh (Super Tacky). Staff doesn’t even get a chance to taste the food for description and sale purposes, that’s how cheap and money hungry they are! Then management speaks fowl of all employees, with everyday gossip and shade. I have to say even the guests who visited were as well. So be careful!!! So if you’re not a young naïve male with a substance abuse problem and work blood sweat and tears, you better act accordingly or you’re no good to them! So I’ll say this; funny how you are terminated from a job, with reason of a bad review; the most extreme being that you allegedly threatened a 60 yr old washed up manager. Let’s be real! No one wants to threaten a bitter old lady and I never did! What threatened her was my strong presence, and I’m not a minion. I bent over backwards always checking up on her and cheering her up, leaving me extremely exhausted and sick of hearing how she’s better than the restaurant. But I’ll say this, I got fired for not speaking at all. Yet, the underaged hostess can get wasted while working New Year’s Eve, while her mom picks her up, and she can’t even answer a phone call ?! So yeah, I’m INSULTED at how unprofessional and petty this establishment has been in my experience. I’ll just let this...
Read moreThe food at this Greek restaurant in White Plains is truly exceptional. Some of our favorite dishes include the grilled Mediterranean octopus, which is perfectly cooked with warm fava, balsamic caramelized onions, and crispy capers. The sesame feta, pan-seared and topped with sour cherry preserves and candied walnuts, is a delightful blend of flavors. The crab cake, made with Maryland lump “blue” crabmeat and served with a black-eyed peas salad and remoulade sauce, is another standout. The Avgolemono soup, a traditional chicken, egg, lemon, and orzo soup, is simply divine.
We’ve had many company events here because the atmosphere is so amazing. The service is outstanding, with Nick and the rest of the staff always making us feel welcome and ensuring we have a fantastic experience. The location is great, adding to the overall charm of dining here.
Tonight, we went for a drink and had a wonderful time. Nick recognized us and was very welcoming, making the experience even better. We ended up being the last guests, and they had to do overtime for us, which made us feel a bit bad, but their hospitality never wavered.
The drinks, especially the Greek Martini with cucumber vodka, are also top-notch. This place is a true gem, and I can only highly recommend it for anyone looking for an excellent...
Read moreWell, the oddest piece of architecture and real estate in White plains has a decent restaurant inside it. There's a lot to be said when the sign says Mediterranean food and it's basically greek. Be prepared for a lot of stairs and heat if you go for lunch especially on warm sunny days. It's very modern. The menu is small and limited but there is a lot to drink and a decent wine selection. I guess if you're a sophisticated eater you might enjoy yourself. There are some excellent appetizers and some great main courses. Lunch is reasonably priced and dinner is out of control. The help is kind and pleasant and since food is cooked to order it does take some time to get to the table. It's not a quiet place it's loud. They do an absolutely fantastic business at least from the night that we were there. It's a great place to take a date. There's a nice party room downstairs for up to 30 people and the bathrooms are clean. There's nowhere to park that's for sure, for free that is. If you're in town at one of the hotels or a business person in White plains or a nearby town, it'd be a nice place for lunch and dinner. It's expensive so bring a lot of money. It certainly worth a try but nothing to speak about. It's at least worth a try. Be prepared for very rich...
