. Today we visited cheesecake factory. Now I've visited the one in queens frequently.food was amazing staff was great waiter was friendly. But but today traveling I looked up food near me. And the cheesecake factory just came up. I was like yes have you tried this place yet and she responded no.so I said good you should love it. We entered the restaurant it seemed to be great until we were seated. The water was very rude. With all going on don't reach over anyone food to put salt and pepper down which should have already been other table. Also I asked for a sprite my soda was done before my plate arrived. After my plate arrived he did not offer me another drink. Then upon eating I noticed the beef and pork sausage was mainly pink inside thats like instant death eating uncooked pork. So to serve that is redundant. We also asked for our food well done the steak still was half pink inside. After getting aggravated with the waiter passing us by not asking if our food was OK or asking us if we needed another drink. Seeing us not eating another bite but thinking we were OK or just not caring either way by then I asked for the manager. Told him about the meal and the waiter. He apologized. Then took our plates and assured the food will be done right this time. So now we wait. I will update as we sit here and wait on our order again. Upon waiting on our order to be done made right. The manager did offer a salad to munch on since he said it would be a 15 to 20 minute waiting time and now the waiter is offering drinks asking if we're OK. It's a shame that he could not have done his job better before I spoke to the manager. But at the moment I'm still waiting on my order. Not only that they offered fresh bread my fiance ate a piece but by the time my spaghetti arrived the bread was cold it would have been nice if I have fresh bread to go along with my spaghetti. Still waiting for the food but I'm sure it would be great by now. But no matter what I'm paying for parking so this will still cost me more for their mistakes. Then waiting for our food the Nats kept flying around the bread as well that was annoying. See everything you can find wrong. Either way we arrived at cheesecake factory at 16:30pm that's 4:30pm and it's now 17:50 and where still waiting on our order. But I'll keep updating as we sit here and wait on our order. Then go pay the meter. Well after the long wait it's like we got the same exact food just recooked. The taste of the second order was less appealing. So I bagged the food to go payed my cash tipped the waiter. And proceeded to leave. But then the manager gave my guest a free cheese cake. Although I'd definitely never EVER return to this establishment! Even the tables looked...
Read moreWhat a disappointment! We had to wait 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge us at our table. It wasn’t even our waitress that acknowledge us but a waiter that noticed we haven’t been seen at all. When we finally got our waitress we ordered immediately because we didn’t want to wait for her to come back!
After taking our order, this waitress informed us that another waitress will be taking over as the other one was on break. Apparently this was the reason for the confusion as to why we weren’t seen for 20 minutes (I’m not buying it). We didn’t even know who the new waitress was and she never introduced herself to us.
When we finally got our order one of the members at our table got the food 10 minutes before the others got theirs! If we ordered it all at the same time why didn’t it come out at the same time?
When the other members received their order, we were then asked if we got everything and we did say yes, this was the last time we saw our waitress (we think it was her)! We were never asked if we wanted another refill on our water, if we wanted to order another drink or to see if everything was OK while we were in eating our food. Some of us could have used more water!!!
The next time we saw our waitress was when she asked us if we needed to go boxes, this is when we realize she was actually our waitress. We said we did and we receive them from the bus boy and then waited again for our waitress to come to see if we needed anything else.
We then ordered cheesecakes to go and also asked for a bill because he didn’t want to wait another who knows how long just for our waitress to come around! We received our cheesecakes and the bill, BUT IT WAS THE WRONG BILL!!! We then again had to wait for a waitress to make her way around to tell her that this was not our bill.
We finally received the correct bill and made our way out. When we got home we noticed that two out of the three cheesecakes were wrong! What a disappointment when you’re looking forward to one cheesecake that your favorite and receive another one that is nothing like your cheesecake you ordered.
This was such a disappointing dinner for us! We used to have monthly dinners before Covid at the cheesecake factory. Now we are not sure when we will return again! Read moreI said I was done with the Cheesecake Factory on two other occasions, before my most recent visit this past Saturday. I can now say I am officially DONE.
After being sat for almost 20 minutes, and not a single person stopping by to greet our table, I stopped a server who was nearby to ask if she knew who our server was supposed to be. She plainly replied “Me” to which I stated “oh, ok because no one has come by.” She was clearly very busy but when she then proceeded to go to the bigger group of people that had been sat AFTER us, that’s when I became upset and decided we needed to speak to a manager. I walked up front and located a manger to whom I explained we had been sitting for 20 minutes, hadn’t been greeted and bare minimum didn’t even have water or bread at the table. I also let him know that at this point we would need a new server because we didn’t feel that we got off to a good start with the one we were to have. To all this, do you know how he replied? He said “well, we don’t bring water to the table unless you order it.” 🙃🙃🙃🙃
Um, sir? SOMEONE HAS TO COME BY SO WE CAN EVEN ORDER SAID WATER. With that dismissive response, I knew it would truly be my last time dining here. I just told this man multiple steps of service that were missed on their end and we don’t get any sort of apology or acknowledgment? You’re telling me this is how you do service? HEARD. We sat for about another 10 minutes before we got another server and in that time I watched that same manager dropping food at other tables. THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE PRIORITY. Why are you dropping food for tables that have orders in, instead of taking our drink order? Hell, we were ready to order our entire meal at that point. As a manager you could have taken our order and entered it into the POS yourself to help expedite. It’s crazy that as a customer I have to get on an app to explain to a manger how to do their job.
The server that we got after was great and we tipped him 20%, as I was not going to take out my frustrations on him. However, I will say it for the 3rd time in this post, I will NEVER be back to this white plains Cheesecake Factory. ✌🏼 It was nice...
