Ok, this was my first time trying and hearing from The Little Beet. Thanks to yelp for making this possible, otherwise I would’ve never heard about this place. Shot out to everyone here and their reviews and tips!
This food made my heart skip a beet! It was so amazing! I don’t know about you all but fresh ingredients, prepared fresh AND served fresh? Guiltless eating with only gluten free options combined with all of your dietary and lifestyle wants and needs. Everyone can literally order from their menu whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, carnivore, herbivore, they got it all!
I have to admit, ordering brown rice when you have a choice of white or brown isn’t always easy except when you order the sprirulina brown rice from The Little Beet. If you don’t believe me well you MUST try it because there’s no other way to describe it. Onto the protein: THOSE SESAME AVOCADOS THOOOOOUGGHHHH! I also tried the beet falafel. Wow! It looks like ground beef and feels like a burger with a sweet ending. YUM! To top things off, the shaved Brussels sprouts with pecorino cheese: perfect for those who don’t usually go well with dairy. This goaty dairy will be gentle on you. Loved loved loved their seasonal item: herb white beans. Uhhhh mazing minty lemony bean perfection! My favorite seasonal though was their delicata squash with smoked paprika. I seriously can’t. Thumbs up on the spicy kick!
Make sure to NOT skip their copycat (way better version) of sirracha: piquillo garlic sauce. I definitely think this should be available to purchase in a bottle. Salsa verde also is very delicious, sort of reminds me of a chimichurri sauce.
Bottom line, if you don’t want to eat amazingly delicious, in season, fresh, guilt free, savory, bowls, then just BEET it! Jk! You will definitely want to hit this spot up if you’re in the Westchester area. Don’t worry, if you’re not, then make sure to check them out in the city. They have plenty of locations!
Ben, thanks for all of your attention and for keeping this place clean and...
Read moreI usually order delivery from this place, but today I decided to drop by. The place was empty, the salad options were limited, and worst of all, the service was appalling. I've never felt less welcome; it seemed like the employee was doing me a favor, and I was clearly bothering her. I get that they must be poorly paid to look so unhappy. The person who appeared to be in charge scolded me rudely for resting my hands on the glass as I tried to see what was available for my salad, given the employee was unresponsive. Every time I added something, she gestured impatiently, asking if that was all. She didn’t even offer me a dressing. I don’t want to be a bother, so I won’t be returning or ordering delivery from here again. They probably have the same lack of enthusiasm for...
Read moreI love food from this place it's healthy and delicious, I come to this place kind of often. But every time I come to them, I feel and see very toxic relationships between staff(I'm talking about women’s part) One day I was waiting for a worker ( she was on her phone, and she saw me that I was waiting). But today was very particular situation. The other lady served food. And in the middle of putting avocado into my bowl, she took off her gloves, came to the kitchen, and started to fight with the other girl. Honestly, I wanted to leave and I should, but I didn't. Then she came back and continued to put things into my bowl. It's not acceptable I think it's good to teach your staff to be polite and put away all arguments out of the customer’s...
