Alex Lounge Bar & Grill — Restaurant in City of White Plains

My vote went down to a 2. Mostly because the last two times we went. We were treated pretty unkindly. No. 1 The Bartender if you can call him that. Didn't make the drink properly then we asked that he fix it. He decided that it was better to argue. Then fix it anyway. Later when we requested tap water. He wanted to charge us $2. Not even for a bottled water. We have gotten water before without pay. At this time we chose to leave. Since it seemed like he was not being too nice. The second time. No.2 We went back to see if it was any better. We sat at the bar and waited. No one came to attend to us and the bartender same as last time walked by us 3 times and pretended that he didn't see my friend call to his attention. The other one stood there and was cleaning cups instead of asking what would we like. Until finally we got his attention. After 10 minutes. Sad. I change my vote to a 1 now. And that's a split vote to the music and the guards are always Nice! Thank...

Everything about this place is terrible the service the food the atmosphere the bartenders and waiters over charged me and my friends multiple times while we was drunk and toon advantage of us and they were so rude and made fun of our autistic friend the food was never cooked properly and everytime we tried to play our own music they’d turn it off we asked nicely and r they just ignored us and all there playing is Mexican music which I don’t mind but atleast mix it up a bit and it’s just so loud I can’t even hear myself talk just a terrible place to go to in my opinion needs to be shut down or taken over by a completely different staff and it would be a lot better oh and also they wouldnt serve some of my friends even when they showed there id they still said no which was very weird oh one more thing the bouncers was actually extremely nice i don’t remember there names but they was very nice and some of the people in there that didn’t work there...

Most importantly, the food is really good and the prices are reasonable. Now for the bad. The bar service is horrible. I had dinner at the bar and ordered a beer. The bar tender (Juan, who is also one of the owners) was not at all friendly. He gave me my beer and then walked outside and just hung out in front of the restaurant on the sidewalk. My food was done as I heard the kitchen ring the bell (I was only customer, so I know it was my food). Problem is, Juan is still hanging outside. Nice women from the kitchen eventually bought me my food, but of course it was now cold. I was never asked if I wanted another beer because the bartender was outside the entire time I was eating. I hope this review helps them improve service (I see other reviewers noting bad service also). I won't be going back, but I still am pulling for...
