This is hands down the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I don't even know where to start. First off, my family and I went here to have a good meal because it was a great day. So, we ordered our drinks. I ordered a Sprite. The drinks came shortly after. Now I am a bit of a germaphobe so I notice things very quickly. What I noticed was a black thing in the drink. I thought it was from the ice so I just decided to drink around it... no big deal. Next, we ordered our appetizers which was great. Until we ordered our entrees. There were 4 of us so we ordered two 2 for 20s. I specifically ordered steak with french fries and broccoli while my mom ordered steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. My grandma ordered steak with french fries for my little sister and she ordered ribs for herself. No big deal. Pretty simple. So then our food came. They gave me the same thing my mom ordered. I didn't freak about it because she apologized and said she would give me fries on the side. That was fine. But get this, THERE WERE NO UNTENSILS! So we had to wait until my grandma's food came and the fries to get UNTENSILS! They do understand that our food will GET COLD?? So we waited. We even set a timer to see how long it would take. Then, she talked to the people in front of us, looked us straight in the eye, and get this... walked away. So we couldn't take it anymore. We asked for a manager. She FINALLY came back with my fries and we told her we needed untensils. She went to go get them. Shortly after she got my grandmother's plate but... you guessed it, it was WRONG! The manager came afterwords and asked us what happened. We explained to her everything that occurred and the waitress then gave us the untensils. She told us she would get back to us to tell us what would happen. The only thing my sister and I ate were the fries. I felt bad for her because she wanted the steak but she couldn't eat it because it's was ROCK HARD. Finally, the manager came and said she cancelled everything on our bill so that we wouldn't have to worry. She apologized many times. We get how the waitress was new but she should know the basic necessities for the costumers. Not to mention there was something on my mom's green beans and a little kid (I guess who came before us) threw half eaten chicken tenders on the floor and they didn't even bother to pick it up. After we were done we stopped the timer and it was 8 minutes. Not including the 6 minutes before we started timing it. I can't believe it took them 14 MINUTES to bring us untensils. At this point our food already got cold. Smh. Plus we realized that she didn't even ask us how we wanted our steak cooked. WHO DOES THAT??? Unfortunatley what I am trying is that you shouldn't come here because the service is HORRIBLE and the WORST experience we have ever had. Let's just say, we are NEVER...
Read moreCame her on a Saturday, a little after 4pm thinking it would a quick in and out before the evening rush. Boy were we wrong. 1st, the booth we were seated at smelled like a dirty rag. I guess whatever they used to clean the table was dirty itself.
2nd, when place our order from the 2 for $20 menu thinking these items would be quicker since its a special. We received the appetizer fairly quickly but then waited 35 mins after that to receive the entree. This wouldn't have annoyed us as much but we were seeing other people who came in after us get their food before us. We had to ask about our food and were told it be 2 more mins. When the food finally came out it totally wasn't worth the wait. It seemed like they microwaved my entree because the beef was ridiculously tough and mash had develop a slight skin. I was so over it.
3rd, Tried to checkout from the kiosk they had on table but it wasn't working. Took about 10 mins to track down our server to get the check. Gave him my credit card to pay and noticed he serviced another table (taking their order) with my credit card in his hand, then went to pos to check us out. I had to stand up from our table to make him notice we needed to leave and you have my credit card.
4th, Husband had to use the restroom. He came back as fast as he left. When I asked what happened he said the restroom was filthy. There was urine all over the floor and toilet seats. Now I would understand if the place was crowded and they didn't have anyone available to check in on the condition of their restrooms but the restaurant was mostly empty when we got there. It just shows the laziness of the staff and management. Mind you, I don't expect extraordinary food or service from a chain restaurant like this BUT there are basic hospitality practices that every restaurant should implement. Read moreOriginally, I had rated this location 4 stars, but needed to downgrade after today's experience. First, although we arrived with plenty of time to spare before the end of happy hour, waiting to just be noticed narrowed the gap. We barely squeezed in our order, but that's not the start of it... for drinks at the happy hour price was rejected/questioned (because we weren't at the bar?) then needed to be double-checked. Then, it was "ok" (?) We were ready to leave at this point, but decided to stay mostly for the sake of our two kids. What followed was so much work and wait, that perhaps my wife, the two kids and I were better off leaving. We literally had to ASK and remind the staff for everything. Silverware. Napkins. The drinks for our two kids (way after the order was already placed). Then, the order for one of my two kids was completely missed. I keep mentioning "two" for a reason, you'll see. My one kid was already hungry and had to witness all of us eating... But of course we offered him stuff from our plates to hold him over. Can't get worse, can it? SO... here's why I kept saying "two". When we get the bill, we get charged for THREE kids meals. Not only was the one late, but it gets charged TWICE. Since I'm sure the original order was completely missed, it had to be placed again - and... There it was on our bill. Sure, it got rectified, and we got apologies - but after all that we (the parents) felt like we need more drinks... Elsewhere... LOL In closing, the food was ok and my other kid (the one that got her food "on time") enjoyed it. My original 4-star was mostly because the place and atmosphere was good (and dressed up for the holidays). I believe the service was better then. Not sure what changed, but not sure we'll be going back here...
