Sun City Caribbean & American Restaurant Better Food, Better Service — Restaurant in Clarkston

I don't know what happened today.. ive eaten here a few times. It was never great how some of these people make it seem but it's ok. I think the bbq jerk is the best on the menu if it's served hot. I was served old stale rice and peas today with bbq sauce on top that they call jerk sauce. How do I know? Everything was cold Stuck together and chewy or too hard too chew. The beans were dried and white crusted. Some of the beans even had hard black ends that weren't edible because it was so hard. The meat was cool so the jerk sauce in the "bottle" couldn't melt. I was served 4 bones and a meat. I paid 9 dollars to be served bones. The way the chick placed them looked like it was a hefty portion but they were just large breast bones . The only thing worth eating today was the cabbage.. even that had fresh and soggy translucent pieces mixed together with a white garlic dusting over it. I thought I was eating parmesan cheese .. I've never been so disappointed. I've eaten here several times during the dinner serve. Maybe the lunch rations consist of left overs. Either way I'm thoroughly disgusted. I recently visited sun city which I have frequented quite often. This is not the first time I've had an issue with the food not being properly prepared but I've given them opportunities to correct it. This final time I contacted the restaurant and was informed by the owner that she doesn't care the fact that the oxtails were under cooked and that the Mac and cheese is always dry. After spending almost $60 for 2 meals she would replace one and not the extra for the Mac and cheese. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Caribbean food. Customer service sucks also. NO REFUNDS NO RETURNS.......

Re: After reading your response I feel as if you're saying this simply for the review I have. You clearly stated to me that you refuse to replace both meals and could only afford to replace one. If this was the first time I had an issue regarding the quality of your food I probably wouldn't have posted this but because it's the first time I addressed it with YOU I expected a better response then what you gave me. I went to this location for the first time I was visiting from another state, I googled this location, The manager not so welcoming, kinda snobby, stuck up, but anyway, I got 2 large oxtail plates with a side of Mac and cheese, the oxtail plate for a large is very small, i got more broken meat then whole oxtails, the Mac and cheese was horrible and everything was very old, even the oxtails also they had NO VEGGIES, and the oxtails where old like they been sitting there all day, and you could taste that within the food, not only that they charged me the price of a whole side because I requested it in a separate container because I don't like my food to touch they wanted to put my Mac and cheese in with my oxtails, like uhhh, prier to that the guy told me it was only 1.50 to add on , I didn't realize the extra charge until after my food was rung up.
