AJs Bar — Restaurant in Clarksville

Update 7/2025: the biker gang problem has improved but now the ladies bathroom is out of order and you’d think a bar that only accepts cash would have an ATM that works but no… it’s broke! We had enough cash on us for 1 bear each …. It ain’t worth it. We’re leaving. Although we’ve been loyal customers for 4 years, we may not be back to AJs since they won’t ban the friggin biker gangs from the place. They jumped three of our close friends last night from behind without warning as they were walking to the car in AJs parking lot. Our female friend is in the hospital and our 2 male friends are hurt too. There were 6 bikers on 3 innocent victims and they had them on the ground with all 6 kicking the crap out of them with their boots! We had just left ahead of them and weren’t there. But this is the THIRD time this has happened within 3 months! I talked to the owner’s son who manages the place about it previously and he purportedly talked to his dad, the owner , but they claim that the male victim who a biker knocked out cold started the first one and that a female ran her mouth to the bikers and started the second one and I don’t doubt that may have happened when people are intoxicated, BUT that’s not the point! It is the bar owner’s responsibility to provide a safe and secure establishment for people to enjoy without worrying if they’ll be put in a hospital by anyone! The son/manager told me they will NOT be adding security, NOT be patting people down at the door…. basically they will do NOTHING about it! Hell, they don’t even check IDs to make sure they aren’t serving underaged! So we will probably start going to O’Connors and I’m sure our good friends who run the pool tournaments there will gladly move their pool tournaments over there too… unless they BAN the black pistons and the Tn Outlaws for starters from the bar!! I tell ya, if our friends hadn’t ran the pool tournament last night, they would’ve barely had any business. Guess they don’t care about their LONG-TIME, REGULAR and LOYAL CUSTOMERS! 🥵 As much money as we’ve dropped in that place over the last 4 years and as many friends who we’ve brought there and they’re going to choose a bunch of friggin thugs who only come in occasionally over the safety and security of their longtime patrons? Yea, that speaks VOLUMES...

First time in was great, stopped for my girlfriend and Is anniversary great food, had a few beers bartender was great it was a wendsday I believe, so pretty quiet besides some older gentlemen. Fast forward a few weeks later we have friends and family in town traveling and we go to grab a few beers and some food play some pool, between the 🪝’s 💰 and 💊 going around the place I had chugged my beer and got my people the hell out of there was being watched the whole time.
