Captain D's — Restaurant in Clarksville

08/28/2023 around 11:20 a.m. I went to this captain d's for lunch.

I ordered the seafood platter. The fries were delicious. However Upon eating the fish, I tasted what I recognized as freezer burnt fish. I let the staff working the front know that it was not tasty at all and if I could have more freshly made not freezer burnt.

I was informed it was fresh but that they would cook me another . However when one staff member told the cook to burn my fish I was very upset that she had the nerve to say that. But to say that in front of me really had me just in complete awe.

Upon hearing that i told them that I didn't even want the fish anymore nor a refund I just left and still politely told them thank you. I called back to the store and asked for the name of the young lady who told the cook to burn my fish so that i could properly place names with my concerns but i was told by Ashley that I couldn't have it ..

I was traveling when I stopped at a Captain D's. I use the drive-thru on that day because I was traveling with a friend. We ordered to plate males one was chicken and fish frys slaw and a drink. The other plate was three pieces of fish okra and a baked potato. The taste of the fish was not what I was expecting. I really like Captain D's fried fish with all the little fried crumbs that they put on your plate. My friend also said she was not happy with the fish. It tasted "fishie". We shared her chicken tenders and out side dishes. She had hush puppies I ordered a bread stick. I got hush puppies no bread stick. After taking a break for a from a long drive, I decided to stop here just to get a quick right before I rest. The young lady that took my order, Stevasia, I believe is her name, was very welcoming and extremely friendly. Usually, I do not see this rare type of genuine friendly type of customer service in fast food industries, but she has truly went above and beyond her job description in order to make customers feel comfortable after being on the road for so long. I haven't gone to a captain d's and close to 10 years, but the newer items that I wasn't familiar with she explained them thoroughly and told her preference on the taste of them.
