So we had been reading all the rave reviews about this place and were excited to try it on a Monday night. Let start off by saying that the place is very upbeat, the decor is rock n roll throughout the entire place. We arrived at 5:15 pm and were promptly seated. Our server got our order and brought our drinks very promptly. UNFORTUNATELY that didn’t last. After 30 min our server came by to apologize for the long wait. She explained that the sushi chef was off and other chef/s were covering and she didn’t want to go ask the kitchen staff as to not “overwhelm” them. Ok. But I began to see other orders for customers that arrived way after us go out. We finally called our server, who was nothing but nice yet not properly trained to deal with this type of situation. Apparently after 50 min they discovered our order never made it to the kitchen staff. The manager came by and was also very apologetic and even comped our dinner. Don’t get me wrong, That was nice but you know what would have been better? If your staff didn’t feel like they can’t talk to the kitchen staff, if the server topped off our drink instead of just apologizing for the delay or better yet how about throwing in an appetizer while we waited. To be fair we ONLY ordered 2 rolls! It’s obvious the staff needs more training. We would have overlooked all of this were it not for the thick rice covered sushi we received. As of right now I highly recommend you give them some time to get all the kinks worked out.

Usually "I love Rock and Roll" but "I can't get no Satisfaction" from this place! The appetizer of tempura lobster tail was nothing more than a lobster hush puppy barely any of what i assume is lobster in it. But they plated it with the tail shell on the plate. It reminded me more of little shrimp bites or langostino in it but it was overtaken by batter and breading. The tuna roll tasted sour and not fresh along with most the other rolls. The crawfish while vissibly present didn't make an appearance on the tastebuds. "I won't be fooled again" by RNR sushi. I told my friends "We gotta get outta this place". We were looking for good food but this place is overpriced and not that good.if you think you'll get amazing food here then "Dream on". If my Girlfriend ever wants to come here again "I'll lay it on the line" and tell her " I would do anything for love, but i won't do that!" I'd like to "Imagine" this place becoming good, but "God only knows" if it will.

I heard this place had really good sushi, so I had to try it out. Unfortunately, I'm doing keto right now so I can only attest to the hibachi and sashimi, but my kids are sushi connoisseurs so I'll relay their opinions. First off - they have Coke Zero! Diet Coke is not good at all. The smoked salmon sashimi was relatively cheap, had a nice presentation, and was tasty. I had the chicken hibachi meal which was ok. The only sauce they had for dipping was the yum-yum sauce. The miso soup was really good. The sushi rolls looked good and my kids gobbled them up. They did say the wasabi could have been stronger. I'm taking 2 stars off for the price and for the lack of flexibility in switching items out. Price wise - quite expensive compared to other sushi places in town. Yes, it's good food, but not for the price in my opinion. As far as flexibility, I wanted to switch the fried rice out for a salad in my hibachi meal, and they refused. Weird hill to die on.

First time trying a chain sushi place and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was great, food was excellent, and music was a nice touch and not overwhelming to the point you had to talk over it. Overall, great experience and will definitely be back. The owner, Brad, also seems like a genuinely good guy that cares about his staff and the customers.

Update: Apparently when the owner is not in the building, the service dives. Two people ended up serving us at various points back and forth. We were the only customers at the time. Then, several menu items were unavailable at 3pm on a Thursday. We ordered 2 rolls- 1 to go roll, I ordered the hibachi trio with fried rice, and my wife ordered as a meal, an extra side of fried rice and an egg roll.

They brought the to go roll on a plate before any other food came out. They brought just the egg roll for my wife a few minutes later. Then they brought the other roll we ordered and a few minutes later the hibachi trio.

The hibachi trio was beyond bland. It was essentially just heated, unseasoned meat with a sauce drizzled over the chicken and shrimp. The fried rice was soggy. It was as though it had been microwaved or maybe segregated reheated. It was inedible. After finishing the roll and what I could of the hibachi trio, my wife's fried rice finally made an appearance and it too was the same inedible consistency of the ball on the plate with my order.

We weren't sure why her fried rice took so long when there was some on my plate, and frankly, we didn't care. We were over the experience.

What was an amazing experience the first time went so far south we...

Well, if you like the club or bar scene this place is for you. There is no greeting or anyone telling you where to sit, it just seemed like nothing in there is controlled or has order. After walking in and standing there aimlessly for a few minutes waiting for someone to greet us, the workers behind the bar told us we could sit anywhere. We sat at the bar and I was sitting about a foot away from my girlfriend and I had to almost yell for her to hear me. Despite this, we waited thirty minutes for some real ice cold tap water. For it being four days after they opened they were out of most the drinks they serve. And with this, at what would be the busiest time of the day there were less than fifteen people dining in. And the wait was still a whopping forty-five minutes from us getting our drinks to get our food - keep in mind we only ordered four rolls and nothing more. Ive never met a chef that takes a break when there is customers actively waiting for their food until I came here. Their selection was scarce at best if you like anything more than imitation crab meat and shrimp tempura. This is definitely the first and last time I’ll come to get sushi here. For there being at least five other sushi establishments in a 4 mile radius I would rather suffer through the worst that they have. The basics of the food was so below sub par, rice was way undercooked. All the sushi was drowned in sauces to mask just how little...
