I wear not pleased with this place. I had heard the service and food was sub part but wanted to judge for myself. First let me start by saying if I'm doing Korean bbq I want to cook the food myself I don't want some one doing for me. If I want that I'll do hibachi. I ordered fried squid and fried wontons. Squid was good cooked perfectly. The fried wontons we're horrible. A pork and leek vegetable mix which was prepackaged and maybe freezer burnt. The guest if the party ordered which had meat in it.... Meat in a vegan soup very odd. With the Korean bbq for two the wonton soup was sub par. I was very disappointed. The grilled chicken, it read good and the rest of the setting eat nice except it was hard to know what done things were as our server after leaving would never come back unless flagged down.
I say try it for yourself maybe their meals are better. But you won't get to use the BBQ built...
Read moreWont go back! I ordered a meal with rice and vegetables and even told the waitress I didnt eat meat. My meal had beef in it. It was taken back 3 times, each time coming back within minutes. The chef removed the meat and sent the same product out each time. I have been vegetarian for 13 yrs, I was not feeling well within 15 minutes of eating the food. The staff didnt come to see if everything was ok or needed a refil after that and the place was empty. Yes, Id say the food was authentic BUT when the staff doesnt care about their patrions the food isnt worth it. If you want to get ignored and deal with a staff that littertally doesnt care this is your spot to check out!!! Other wise theres better places in Nashville and they do care about their patrions. If I could give negative stars I would, Ive been ill since that meal and will be for a few more days, thanks momo's for ...
Read moreHighly recommended! My family was driving through the area from gatlinburg to southern illinois and I was craving korean food. We tried to go to 2 other korean places but they were closed so we ended up at Momo, but boy am I happy we ended up here! The food is delicious and reminds me of mom and grandma's home cooking. It's a bit dated but the space is very clean and well maintained. The food and service is what matters to me and you will not be disappointed. The prices are super reasonable and service was friendly and fast. Everything was cooked fresh and we got the 2 person galbi meal, which was a steal at only $60 and portions were very generous. The meal set included fried mandu dumplings, a large portion of mandu soup that had a lot of beef and egg, japchae, grilled mackerel, a seafood pajun pancake, galbi, rice and banchan! If I'm ever in the area, I will...
