Today with the return of the iconic and coveted chicken sandwich was near to be expected. It was smaller than I anticipated. But good. I enjoyed the buttery crispy taste of the breading on the chicken sandwich itself. The long drive thru lines and long lobby lines were also expected. I went there straight after work and stood in line for nearly an hour. But I did my my food rather quickly. They had a two sandwich per person limit which was highly disappointing. But I can understand that at this time, at least till the thrill dies down. What I did not like seeing was the cashier being rude to another customer who only asked for extra mayo packets and she rudely and gruffly said no and glared at her to go. I can understand that they only have mayo dispenser bottles for the sandwiches as they normally don't have sandwiches until recently. But she could have politely told the customer for example, "I'm sorry, but our mayo is only dispensed from backline bottles and we don't have mayo packets at this time." That would have been a better response to the customer. Then when my order was up, I checked before I left to be sure I had my blackened ranch I love so much and ordered and even paid for one extra and it was empty of any of my sauce. And when I said excuse me but I'm missing my blackened ranch in here and said I'd ordered three to go with my spicy chicken tenders, the same cashier glared at me as another employee got me the ranch. So all in all, the sandwich was okay. But not worth holding up a store at gunpoint like the news articles from back when the sandwich first came out. Or all the fighting like savages that's been happening. It's not worth that kind of hype. And the fact it's caused one of my favorite places to go from a five star place to a two if I'm being generous and considerate of the stress and pressure they're under, but I did not appreciate the rudeness to me and other customers. So I'm giving this Popeye's location a two star rating for a terrible bedside manner. I've had rude customers where I work but I'd never dare speak to them as this lady has done. Maybe I'll come back and list the cashier's name if I bother to even get my receipt from out...
Read moreAbsolute worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The place and the employees at the Ft. Campbell location are trash. I'm an Uber Eats delivery driver and I just came to pick up my customers order. The lady at the window said they were out of fries and said "I need you to call them and ask for a substitution. I was already texting the customer and asking them what they would like as a substitute and they responded right away and asked me to ask what they have. He then told me to ask for mashed potatoes. As soon as he responded the lady opened the window and shoved their food right in my face before I got the chance to tell them what he wanted. I asked them why they are handing me the food before he got the substitute he wanted and she said "Well you're taking too long so i replaced it for him. I told you to call them" but there were no cars behind me or in the line at all and i was only at the window for not even 2 minutes. AND you don't chose what their side is for the customer. The customer decides. It's not your good or your money. So give the customer what they ask for. And I already knew they were out of fries because my boyfriend went there 10 minutes before me and he told me they were out of fries. That's why I texted the customer. He gave me his response right after I got to the window. Then the manager came to the window and told me to leave before I even got my customers right order, so I stayed at the window until I got what the customer wanted. They continued to yell and curse at me, but I didnt budge cuz I don't take crap from careless people who don't care about anyone but themselves. All they wwre doing was talking and laughing at me and not doing their jobs. I care about what my customers want . And I'm going to get what they asked for and paid for. To everyone who does delivery and to everyone who even thinks about going to popeyes at ft. Campbell, DO NOT GO THERE! I REPEAT, DO NOT GO THERE!!! You will get treated like trash from very trashy people and you will waste your money because you will not get what...
Read moreI went to Popeyes located at 1640 Fort Campbell Blvd, Clarksville, TN 37042 on Veterans Day 11/11/2023. As a disabled veteran, I used the drive-through to place my order. I ordered classic wings combo, and the total was $11 and some change. When I got to the drive up window and opened my wallet, I realized I only had a $10 and a $50. I handed the cashier the $50, and when she saw it, she acted confused and turned to another store worker for guidance. After a few moments, she turned back and informed me that I would need to purchase a minimum of $20 in order for her to complete the sales. I questioned her, " So it is not that you can not accept a $50. It is I have to order more food that I do not want or need." The manager (I presume) stepped in (with a very poor customer attitude) and confirmed that I would need to purchase more than $20 dollars in order for them to accept the $50. Again, not that they would not accept it, I would just need to order more food I do not need or want. I took a moment to review the window and everything posted and ask the manager ( I presume because they never identified themself) "so is this a Popeyes written policy" "I do not see it posted any place" the woman confirmed that it is a Popeyes written policy and then very rudely told me that she would just deny me service. There was no option for could I use a credit, or sir, we do not have change for a $50, and if I could get it changed, some (suggestion) place else. This experience just does not sit right with me. I am hoping there is legal action for something like this, but at a minimum, my complaint will be filed with the BBB, and my story will be on social media. If this is how Popeyes manager at this store treats customers, I am sure you have seen a decline in...
