I had my first experience with KC&J around Christmas this past year. I saw, online, a picture of a gorgeous ring they were selling. I was out of town so they offered to hold the ring for me. Once I got back into town a week later, I still couldn’t make it to the store for another two weeks. Not once did the owner or employees call and bug me about coming in or threatening to put the ring back on display if I didn’t come in by a certain time. I was impressed by that.

Once I finally made it to the store I was greeted by at least three smiling faces, a chorus of “hello” and some incredible and beautiful merchandise! It was a very warm, inviting, family-feeling atmosphere. I was not hassled by salespeople. When I tried on jewelry I didn’t get a bunch of insincere compliments from the employees, just trying to sell products. The lady working with me told me, on a few pieces I tried on, that they didn’t look good on me. Those pieces were more expensive than the ones she said looked better on me! How often can you go shopping and receive genuine compliments and not just smoke so they can sell and earn commissions? NEVER!

In addition, KC&J has amazing and varied merchandise with incredible, affordable pricing. I will never buy jewelry anywhere...

They have a great inventory & offer good prices on coins, gold, etc but they need to hire more people ASAP. Every time I go in there, there’s always a line backed up to the door. There is usually only one guy working the counter where you sell your items.

What’s also frustrating is when you are standing in line for a long time & a customer & the worker start chitchatting while other people are waiting. Like the rest of us don’t exist. I know it’s customers most of the time but the worker reciprocates & a long waiting time gets even worse.
