My experiences at this White Castle location have been mixed, with customer service often falling short. On my most recent visit, I went with my sons around 8 p.m. The restaurant wasn’t busy—my family and I were the only customers inside, with just a couple of cars in the drive-thru. Despite the lack of crowd, it took a noticeable amount of time for anyone to greet us. Several employees looked our way but didn’t say a word. When someone finally came to take our order, they seemed distracted and were on their phone, which felt unprofessional.
After we ordered, the issues continued. We asked to dine in, but when our food was ready, it was just placed on the counter in a to-go bag, with no notice that it was ready. I asked for a tray, but the employee handed it over with what seemed like an attitude and quickly walked away. I also had a hard time getting someone’s attention to ask for condiments, only succeeding after raising my voice slightly.
This location is often on the messier side; tables aren’t always cleaned promptly, which is disappointing. Since this White Castle is the closest to my home, we still go occasionally, and it’s not always a bad experience. However, service quality is hit-or-miss, and cold items like fries or chicken rings have become a common issue. Employee turnover seems high, which may explain the inconsistency. All in all, it’s a convenient place to grab a quick meal, but it often lacks in cleanliness and...
Read moreWho in the H double hockey sticks came up with the new drive thru? I waited 5 minutes for my order to be taken, 5 more minutes in line and eventually drove off because there were 2 or 3 cars in front of me. I never drive out of line...i was so upset and HUNGRY! The new set up is confusing...you drive up to a row of orange construction cones which give a message of stay away from the building (it looks tacky) and there is this crazy sliding patio door. The poor girl that waits on you has to walk all the way outside to collect payment and bring you your food. This makes everything take so much longer and doesn't make sense! Just her smiling face out a window handing me my bag of food was good enough. Not to mention how unsafe this is...someone out in the open, alone and handling money next to a gas station, a wooded area, a freeway on ramp surrounded by empty parking lots. On top of this the person is out in the weather with no awning. Good job White Castles...NOT! Do you not give a darn about your employees health and safety? Go back to what has worked for how many years. I would like to see the person that came up with this working out there this winter...see...
Read morePlaced a simple online order for six bacon and jalapeno cheese sliders with pickle and a small fry. The first red flag, was when I waited over 20 minutes in the drive-thru for such a small order, that was ordered ahead of time. Fast forward; I get my order, I go home, no bacon on my sliders. I call, I go back. First they seemed to think that I was lying about the mistake. But they make it and I go home. Only to find, that now there's no pickles on my remade order. So now for the sake of saving me a headache. I have to take the pickles off of the first wrong order, and put them on the second wrong order, to make what I actually ordered. I understand checking your food before you pull off, but for such a small order it shouldn't be necessary. I've eaten from this White Castle intermittently in the past, and there have been mistakes then as well. I would not recommend eating at this establishment. The fast food isn't fast, and never has been. It's never been faster than 15 minutes at any time of day. And the chances of them getting it right, is minimal at best. Order precision and punctuality are not a primary concern of this restaurant. I felt like I...
