This is an update from a post before the pandemic. We've eaten here more than once and everytime has been a good experience. Before we even get to the food let's talk about service. If you find any nicer people working in a service like this I hope you write about them and tip accordingly. These ladies that wait on us are AWESOME, no joke. Now to the food. Last Friday was the first time in here since the pandemic. We had Fish & Chips, I don't know how they cook the fish but it is great. The best Fish & Chips this side of Martha's Vineyard for sure. We went again today and we had the Fish & Chips. It was just as good. If I remember correctly the meatloaf was good as well. We will be going back for something different now that we feel a little safer from that dreaded Covid. To the owner, the ladies you have working the dinning room are valuable to your operation, I hope you realize this. Thanks PC

I haven't been in a long time. Came with my family for our 18th wedding anniversary. The hamburger was really over cooked ( see picture, why would you even think that is okay). The fried fish looked cooked on the outside, but the inside was not cooked all the way. My wife didn't eat her food at all. I had to get up to find my own silverware for the entire table with our food sitting in front of use getting cold. I had asked the server for silverware, but rather than just quickly getting it she took orders from two other tables, got lemons for another and then went to get boxes for another table. I never got a refill on my coffee, or even asked if I needed one. The server went every table around us multiple times... but only came back to our table once . Maybe under staffed. We did get a new hamburger and they took the fish off..., But over all.... Really very disappointed.

Maybe just an off night but an unpleasant experience that makes me unsure if I want to go back. One waitress for the entire bar area. Waited entirely too long for service. Lots of other disappointed faces. Some walk outs. Debated walking out and probably should have. my food comes out a completely different thing than what I ordered. I still am Accepting of the mistake. Trying to understand they have no help. Not a fan of eating separate or having someone wait for you to eat. I mean that’s why you go out to eat together. When my food does come out it was not really not that great. Left hungry because I left half my food. Then it felt like another 30 minutes to check out. Loosing more than a few customers. Would suggest upgrading to order at the table.

My fiance & I have frequented this establishment since moving to the community. We will NOT be returning, as well as spreading our most recent experience with the surrounding community.

We went out Thursday night, to celebrate my fiance's recent accomplishment. We sat at one of the bar booths. Towards the end of our meal, my fiance asked me to turn and look at a gentleman at the bar who was staring at her. I turned, but not far enough. Nearly 5 minutes pass & I see her growing more uncomfortable. So I turn and look again. This time I looked back far enough to see a man staring directly at her, not breaking eye contact for a second. I stood up, blocking his view of her. With our server no where in sight, we walked up to the bar to pay our bill. As we were paying our bill this man stood up, and walked past us, to sit down at the table closest to the exit. As he walked past me I noticed the, rather large, tote bag he was carrying. As we left, this man hollered for our attention, only to tell us that he hoped we'd have good night, as he eyed my fiance up and down one last time. We walked out the door only to find that in the VERY FIRST parking space there was a man sitting in the driver's seat of a utility truck. He watched us walk to our car, never breaking eye contact with me.

This experience, although it has nothing to do with the service or employees themselves, is unsettling & in my opinion requires some attention. Unfortunately when we went back to the draft house to share this with the General manager, we were told that not only did he "not have the time" (for paying customers) but that "every manager is just too busy." This type of response, is down right sad, & unprofessional.

This situation could have been much worse than it turned out to be.

Furthermore, I would think that you would want your customers to feel safe within your establishment. This is no longer the case for my fiance.

I'm sorry that you "don't have the time" to discuss an issue such as patron safety within your establishment.

I can only hope that upon reading this SOMEONE will take the time to review your DVR.

Thursday night, we arrived shortly before 10pm, I was wearing grey shorts, a black polo, and a grey batman cap with a neon bill. My fiance had on blue jean capris and a black shirt. The gentleman we had an issue with was sitting at the bar, two or three people to the right of the gentleman in the salmon colored polo. He was an older guy, grey shirt, and had a baseball cap on.

I'm really hoping to hear back from you, but to be perfectly honest, & considering your initial response, it doesn't seem like you give...

Hosted my husbands birthday dinner March 2, 2019... Reserved a private room one week ahead of the date... On the date at arrival time the wait staff were HORRIBLE.... I informed the waitress that I was there for the party she turned and “waved” me in the direction of the party room and stated there’s no one there.... after about 14 of my guess arrived finally someone came in to take our drink orders.... as my guest and I sat for over 30 minutes for someone to acknowledge us they had someone working on the equipment in the same room as we waited...we had to wait extremely long for our drink orders to come out... there was random people walking through our party for no reason... there was no music other than what we had to beg the staff to provide... we also had to get on a waiting list just to play pool... we asked the staff over and over if our table had came up and they kept saying “ they’ll let us know” well they never did...my guest and I were basically asked to leave because before we got to play pool the waitress brought everybody their checks without even asking us if we was ready to leave...STILL AT THIS POINT THEY HAD NEVER LET US KNOW IF OUR TABLE HAD CAME UP FOR THE POOL GAME ...we were disrespected and treated in a very poor way... I asked for the manager and was told that it wasn’t a good time ... My guest and I left and do not plan to return after paying $100 for a deposit to reserve a private room and being required to spend at least $300.... There was no communication between management and their staff... I preordered “platters “ which came out to be an individual appetizer ( not worth the money)... The wait staff was very rude... it was a very unprofessional experience and would not recommend going there...

Editing to add that this was the Clayton location

On 6/17/25, a friend and I stopped to get a quick bite to eat on our way home from a Dr appt. I had eaten there before and always had a good experience, but on 6/17, it was not the case. The restaurant appeared dirty. It definitely needs some heavy cleaning, but that is not what our complaint was about. Although it did not appear busy, it took us a few minutes to get seated. We arrive right at 12 noon. The server took our drink order and shortly after took our food order. We waited close to 30 minutes for our food (a rueben and a patty melt). Both sandwiches were served with toasted bread which was basically black from being over toasted, and the fries were cold. Having worked in a restaurant setting, the plated food should never have left the kitchen! We mentioned our complaints to the server, who was young and seemed inexperienced, but no accommodation was suggested. We tried to eat but the food was just not edible. The server brought the ticket and asked if we wanted a box for the sandwiches. My friend replied that we didnt need a box and that the food was not good and asked if could there be an adjustment to the ticket. The server said she couldn't, but she could get the manager. The manager came and we explained the problem. Her words were very sharp, loud and very rude. She snatched the ticket out of my friend's hand and returned with a ticket reflecting a $5 discount. We didn't expect free food, and do not mind paying for good food, but the rudeness of the manager will be the reason we never return. All said and done, we did leave the server a...
