UPDATE: 12/12/2024 - The ongoing saga of me and Dunkin' Donuts. SOMETHING has changed over here. No more lined up cars and waiting20 minutes to get from the drivethrough menu board to the window and then 5 MORE minutes for a large coffee. From looking at the people inside, I believe there has been either a serious and focused change of staff or they've upped their pay and are attracting some dedicated workers! In any case, the group in the last couple weeks - they ARE rockin. Until next time, bumping the CURRENT rating up LOL. Don't take anything for granted though. With a sense of "wait and see", but a whole lot of HOPE for this DD - upping rating to a 4 as this could shift overnight RIGHT back where it HAS been for the last many years. Fingers crossed.
UPDATE: 6/6/2024 - Sad how this review has NOT dramatically changed in 5 years. If anything, gotten worse.
Have been going with some occasion in the last few months - the dog loves a pup cup and wife still loves their coffee. I'll let her write her own review. Got to counter behind someone who was just finishing. Ordered 2 large coffees with cream, blueberry muffin and a pup cup. My dog lives for a pup cup. Got the muffin and waited. And waited. And waited. Literally 15 minutes had passed by and I finally left in disgust with only a blueberry muffin in tow. While my wife may force me back there to get her a coffee, it will be under duress - and will likely be a DIFFERENT location. They likely won't miss the $100 / month I've been spending there lately, but I'm thinking the NEW location over on 42 will appreciate it. Changing to 1 star. Food is good - if and when you get it. Wife does love the blueberry muffin.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: 2019 NOT sure what is going on here in the last couple months... Pulled up to get a donut a couple of months ago, "OUT OF DONUTS" on a piece of paper on the drive through. How in the H*LL is a donut place out of donuts? Seriously - in the middle of the afternoon?? Gave it another try a few days ago. Sat behind another driver who was next to the speaker for literally 4-5 minutes - not a peep out of the box. Finally rolled window down and shouted up to her had anyone even TALKED to her? Nope - had a few back and forths with her and then finally the box crackled and they asked for her order. Got to my order, gave the person my money, he handed me coffee. Was waiting for change.. "Did you need something else?" "My change?" He got flustered and missed my hand when he realized he owed me change. It dropped to the ground. "Just don't worry about it..." Here we give it yet another try today - "We're out of bismarcks" Bismarck is the "Manager's Special" - and you're out of these at 2 in the afternoon? Seriously? Not sure if they've changed owners or managers or what, but I am heading over to KDale to get Krispy Kremes for the foreseeable future. When they have 'em, they're good, but the service has gone...
Read moreWhile my family and I enjoyed our visit to Dunkin’ Donuts today, we were shocked by the appearance of some areas. We noticed that the floors in the dining room, kitchen, and restrooms could benefit from a deeper clean. There were some instances where food seemed to have been stuck to the floors for longer than a typical morning rush might explain. Keep in mind that customers can view the kitchen while waiting for their orders. The cleanliness of this kitchen should be the highest priority when serving food to the public.
In the dining room, we found there were a few more tables than chairs available, which made seating a bit tricky. Additionally, the menu screens could use a wipe-down as they had gathered some fingerprints and residue.
We believe cleanliness is a crucial aspect of the dining experience, and we hope you'll consider addressing these areas soon. Perhaps a more thorough cleaning schedule or even bringing in a professional cleaning service could be helpful.
Despite these observations, we appreciate the friendly service and delicious food we encountered at Dunkin’ Donuts. We believe that with a little extra attention to cleanliness, your restaurant can...
Read moreWe stopped in last Saturday. My 8 year old grandson had his heart set on chocolate donut with sprinkles. Sadly they were out. He was flustered as to what to choose next because when a kid wants something it’s a one track mind. The cashier was patient and awesome. She offered him choices til he finally decided then my husband and I picked ours. She threw in some munchkins for free. Then she asked my grandson what his favorite ice cream was and gave him a cup of ice cream and apologized for not having his favorite donut. When we got in the car he said “ she made my day”. I’ve been a cashier at many grocery stores and customer service before. Most people would have just said ah sorry buddy. But she went out of her way to make sure he still left happy. So to me that was outstanding customer service. So sure they may screw an order up sometimes. Things happen. But to be served by someone who actually cared makes it all worth while. Wish I knew her name. We came in last Saturday around 1:30. Middle aged lady. Whoever you were - thank you for caring about a little boy’s feelings! You were appreciated...
