Crumbl — Restaurant in Clearwater

I come to crumble religiously but this time I was fairly disappointed. This location is closer to my home but there is another one I got to as well. I was excited to try the biscoff cookie and banana pudding one that I always get every time it comes back. When I walked in I did notice that there was a newer male that I had never see before so I’m not sure if he was new but it seemed he put together my cookies. When I received the cookies the banana pudding one did not have the wafer and the biscoff was oddly harder than usual ( if you have ever had crumble you know the cookies are either very soft, or crumbly) I didn’t say anything at first but even the lady before me had to come back in because her cookie was completely missing the frosting. Before I pulled off I made sure to try both cookies and I’m fully aware the cookies are made fresh daily or so what I’m told. The banana pudding one tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge uncovered. It had a stale taste and not soft and moist like I’m used to. The presentation was not there. The biscoff one was good but was a bit over cooked. I went in to ask to get two of the same flavors but remade because mines just did not taste fresh. They weren’t willing to switch out the biscoff and after going back and fourth and them telling me it’s all made the same I was finally able to get a new banana pudding cookie. I was pretty dissatisfied because these cookies are not cheap and probably won’t come back to this location. Absolute worst customer service! Carson, your shift manager, is the absolute rudest! I tried to asks her on 3 occasions about my order and was ignored every single time as she rolled her eyes and walked away! The girl in the back constantly made eye contact with me seeing me upset and trying to get someone attention and continued on! Your “shift manager” finally came back up and I asked her and she rudely walked away saying well if you didn’t say I’m here then it’s not ready! She’s a bad look for business for sure! When I asked if there was a manager there she said with her back towards me where they prepare the cookies I’m the shift manager! I asked for her name and the store managers name! She continues Mc with her back towards me and snapped, Celeste! I said well is that your name or the store manager! She said hers. I asked again what’s yours! All still with her back turned to me, Carson, you want me to spell that for you? I responded with I sure do! I always come to this location to treat my kids. Normally everyone is always awesome, but today is not one of those days. Today is one of my kids birthday and my kid really wanted to get the birthday cookie so we went to get that birthday cookie and because they didn’t send the barcode to her app, they denied the birthday cookie. Like for real?!?! Is just a cookie!!! I called and asked to speak to a manager but unfortunately, tonight there was only a leader, a team leader and she explained to me because my kid didn’t have the barcode on the app and I’m like come on it’s a kids we are talking about here. She didn’t even care about my concern. This is kids at work I bet and maybe her first job ever. She just told me to go ahead and put in my review and never cared about the kid. PS. I am not mad at all but I just wanted to share. And when you talk to people over the phone you know when they are talking with an attitude which I was very calm about it.
