This place has gone downhill fast. Okay so I came here 2-3 months ago and everything was delicious and I love the watermelon drink. This visit today was inexcusable and I was completely ripped off. I ordered the “el pastor” and the shrimp taco specialty plates. What came out was two street tacos topped with nothing but raw white onion and cilantro. I talked to the employee and she said , “oh we need to change the menu board we don’t have those anymore.” To which I responded “ why wouldn’t you tell me that when I ordered the menu item? That way if you don’t have the cabbage, the red onion, the guacamole, the cheesy tortilla, I could have ordered something else, like a burrito?”and her response was, I’ll just give you a refund. I asked her to simply fix it and put the right toppings on and she told me that it would cost extra. She was rolling her eyes and could not have cared less. I spent $35 on a burrito, and these 2 tacos. I wish I had taken a picture. I will never be back . The staff handled the situation terribly and it really ruined my day. I would like a refund but the best I can do is never return and warn others about an extremely underwhelming taco station . I recommend going to Taco Bus right down the street instead. It’s only 2/3 the...
Read moreThis is the Mexican food restaurant I’ve been waiting 9 years for. We moved from Arizona in 2012 and to this day have not found anything remotely close to our AZ/CA roots in the Mexican food department until now. I was aimlessly scrolling through my uber eats app when I came across In N Out Taco was thinking …… hmm west coast food, please be west coast food… Man was I right! The food was amazing and brought me home in just the first bite. Finding a place that made carne asada the right way is a rare commodity out here… The French fries in the burritos even took me back to my days living in San Diego and made me miss the west coast even more. The tomato based rice was just as good as my Aunt’s and left me wanting more, and reminding me I need to call my aunt. We left satisfied and wanting more, my only complaint is that they aren’t in Dunedin, but we will gladly be making this drive often for this delicious goodness. Thank you In N Out Taco for coming out here and bringing one of the best parts of the west...
Read moreLoved this place and it’s food, that is until today. Got a bag of tortilla chips. Got charged $2 for salsa. Seriously dudes? Nickel and dime. Not cool. We spent $39 on dinner there (for 2) by the way.
UPDATE: The response to this review from the owner is over a week after the fact. AND he was given ample opportunity when we were in the restaurant that day because he came over to our table to ask how everything was and I took the time to give him a much more in-depth explanation of this. PLUS I told him the fact that I had already given him a 1-star review. I didn’t quietly go and write an arbitrary review after the fact. I had been a familiar face in there and had sent them several people as new customers who did follow up and go. His response was “sorry you feel that way. Enjoy” and walked away. No explanation of making salsa fresh daily and all of that. The time to handle it was right then and there. And even if not then much sooner than over...
