Went to this place on 9-10-25. Sign said wait for hostess to seat you. no one at hostess stand after about 2 minutes, i set at the bar. I ask the bartender is it happy hour and what the specials were. She advised bogo on some drinks etc. and gave me the lunch and regular menu. I advised her i was ready to order, and she gave my my drink of tequila and sprite. Food came out, i ordered the Grouper Basket, not sure were the Grouper was at, because it was about 4 fish sticks, that had little to no fish. mostly breading. the Cole slaw, had no taste to it at all, the only thing good was the fries.
Not 1 time, did she ask me if i need anything else, how the food was etc. This bartender was more concerned with serving the locals, that come in because before they set down she had their drink. I was the only African American(black) in the restaurant and sitting at the bar. Then another bartender comes in and i had to ask her for my second drink, once again. Then a couple comes in and stands at the waitress stand and the same Bartender howls over Hello, Someone will be with you in a minute, and a tall guys comes over to set them.. She seen me standing there and said nothing.
The service was terrible, and food was worse. It was like the grouper was cooked in old grease as well as minced fish or something. The guy next to me said how is your Catfish? i said Tis grouper, he said yea.. he said one time they said was grouper and was catfish.
If i could give a negative 0 i would. This place needs to learn Diversity, period,, and to service all customers regardless. Money is Green. The reviews gave this place a good rating that is why i went, but obviously it is only for people of a...
Read moreThe close proximity to the hospital and for my group, the Capitol Theater make this a good spot. I arrived first of my party and sat down at the bar because we were going to be in and out of there a drink and maybe a quick bite to eat and then off to the show. The food was very good. I had potato skins while I was waiting and they were very filling. Lots of potato left covered with an ample amount of cheese and bacon and a very large dish of sour cream in the center 4 skins in total. I had a Crown and Coke and it was very affordable. When my friends arrived they had a Cheesesteak and fries and wings with fries both were large portions and very tasty. We did return after the show to get a couple more cocktails with a larger party actually meeting some friends at the concert . When we returned I was kind of sad to see that they only stayed open until midnight on a Saturday night but I'm sure that has something to do with business as there were not that many people besides us. My only reservation on giving this place five stars is that the service could have been a little better. Bartenders should make an effort to greet you and let you know their name especially when you are solo. Then when you order food you shouldn't have to ask for things like silverware and salt and pepper. They should also return and check on you to see if you need anything. But overall I think this place is a pretty darn cool place and worthy of a...
Read moreMy family and I have been coming here for quite a few years now, and I have to say we just love it. It’s family owned, ample enough parking and plenty of seating inside, especially with booths that have tv’s for your viewing pleasure. It’s very rustic like an old Irish pub should be.The menu has a great variety of all your favorite Irish Pub dishes. We enjoy our meals each time we go. So delicious! The bread pudding is the best we’ve ever had, especially served with real whipped cream. The manager Robby is very friendly, helpful and so nice. We enjoy talking to him when we visit. He really enjoys what he does and it shows by the way he cares for his customers. Saving the best for last is KB. Just love her. She knows the menu inside and out and has never given us a bad suggestion ever. Actually each suggestion was spot on for our taste buds. She’s also very personable, has a great sense of humor, and we make sure we ask for her each time we go. We are happy knowing that not only are we getting great food, but excellent service from one awesome lady. In the restaurant business, there are going to be good and bad days, just like any other business. For those who cannot decide what to get… ask the server. If you don’t like what you ordered… tell your server. If it’s overall not what you expected… talk to Robby. It’s that easy. Thank you O’Keef’s for a fine dining experience each time we visit your...
