I went to this Wawa's and I ordered a salad and three-piece chicken finger. And in my salad there was a hair that was covered in like dirt as if they had scraped something dirty off of something and stuck it in my food. I don't understand how they could have put that in my food without seeing it. And I tried picking it out and thinking I was going to try to eat the rest of the salad, but I can't because I keep thinking there might be something else inside of it; if they put it in themselves who knows what else is in my salad at this point after seeing that... I should've taken a pic, but I didn't and now it's in a cup ashtray thing I have in my car... But I literally have no reason to lie. Honestly, I'm just hoping that whomever was just working there within the last 2 hours, gets watched closer, in case they're doing this. Becaussseeee it's super gross. I work at Publix and I make food all the time and I would totally notice something like that if it was in somebody's food I was making........ Straight up... It was hard not to notice it.... And I'm just gonna leave it at that. I'm not much of a complainer, but I totally felt this was serious enough to address... I usually love Wawa's, especially their salads... But this wasn't it.......
Read moreI love Wawa's. Even if the food is low quality, I love that place. Its smart, get gas and a drink and food and chips and a dessert all in one place. So practical. Genius whoever thought that place up. What makes it better than all the other food/gas places is that you make your own meal, like a sandwhich or a salad. And the quality is good enough. They are fairly quick. They had to change it to where you pay first. I guess people were walking out with the food. Crims. Stupid jerks ruin it for the rest. Anyway, we used to go in and just order food and then take it to the register and pay. Now you have to pick what you want, get your ticket, go to the cash register, pay, and then go back and get your food. Its not too much of a gyration. I also like that they have so many variations, coffee, cold drinks, etc.. and a lot of each item. So its great. And they have the dessert thing going which is good as well. Not bad for a gas station. Its definitely the best of all the gas stations. The ones I have been to are safe as well. I have eaten there maybe 20 times. No problem. In and out. A to...
Read moreI love Wawa! I worked for them 45 years ago in Pennsylvania. (Yes, I am that old.) I am very disappointed in my visit tonight. All 6 half gallon containers of Wawa Half Tea/Half Lemonade were crushed so badly on top you wouldn't be able to pour from them without making a mess. They didn't care. As long as it wasn't leaking. It will leak when you pour from it, but the dismissive attitude bothered me more. I ordered one sandwich. It was a sloppy mess. They weren't busy. No one was waiting for food when I placed my order after 2am. The staff member threw my sandwich together with a third of the meat hanging out of the ciabatta roll. When I commented to him it was sloppy, he didn't see the problem, though he did offer to remake it. As I didn't want him to waste the food, I declined. I will reorganize it when I get home. I expect and have always gotten much better service from nearly every visit to any Wawa location. So...
