Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Clermont

I went in to Pizza Hut Wednesday afternoon this week to pick up a pizza. The worker at the front counter was really nice and outgoing grabbing my pizza and handing it to me pretty much as soon as I got there. Before I left I made sure to check the pizza to see if it was missing anything because I have roommates that are picky eaters. I have only boughten pizza from here maybe once or twice so usually they don’t mess up. Well this is where it went down hill... I look at the pizza to realize mushrooms were missing on one side. I bring it up with the worker up front and they went to go get the manager and tell them about the mess up. The manager (Brent I believe was his name) comes up to me and checks the pizza. He then gives me a really rude tone like I did something wrong when all I did was mention the mushrooms. He talked to the worker and came back with STILL no mushrooms so I then just grabbed the pizza and left. Was there for maybe 30 minutes or so for something I ordered over an hour in advance and the order was still messed up! I will most likely not be returning to the establishment anytime soon. I think I will just stick to eating at Marcos...

I was passing through the area on my way home from Orlando as I had to run there after work and then back home and I noticed that this particular location was a sit-down location. Seems like forever since I've seen one so I cut across traffic safely and went inside. A very lovely and friendly young lady helped me with getting my meal and so forth and I sat there having a pizza while I was waiting for traffic to pass and make an easy drive the rest of the way home. Easily the best pizza I've had in a while. It seems to be different in a walk-in sit-down place like this even for pizza hut. They even do Caesar salad on the side if you want it. I imagine I enjoyed the pizza so much because it actually tasted like somebody really cared when they made it. Update We were originally here in June 2023. I believe they had just reopened the buffet and it was not a good experience. Fast forward to October 2023 and my husband wanted to give them another chance... so we did. This experience was much better. The service was great and the buffet was fully stocked. The salad (very small and you can only get one) was fresh and tasted good.**

Horrible experience. Went at 1 for the lunch buffet that ends at 2. We sat, ordered drinks and when we got to the buffet it was completely empty. Waited over 15 minutes for more food to come out and everyone in the dining room flocked to it and took everything before we had a chance. Waited another 15 minutes for more food to come out.
