This thrift shop sold us a sectional for 201.00, unbeknownto us, when we got home the cushions did not fit right. The sectional was missing a piece so Stephanie gave us a cushion off the matching chair to shove into fill the spot. This has never worked and the couch came separated and I was not aware. So because of this i fell over the couch broke my hand and had 13 stitches. I called Stephanie today and TRIED to explain the situation 1st she put the phone down and then when I asked for a higher up in this non profit company she told me you won”t get your money back and was to busy to talk to me and hung up the phone. NEVER TRUST THIS STORE, THEY LIED TO US AND WOULD NOT MAKE IT RIGHT. I know have metal hardware in my hand and a scare on my lip because of her lie. Is this Christianity at its best? *UPDATE. I spoke with a Mr. Darrell or Mr. Darrelled, he would not repeat his name. Told me they do not to keep so no proof of this happening (once again emplying I am lying).so with no records their is nothing they will could do. News Flash we have credit card receipt. After I explained that Stephanie twice in one day hung up on me, his exact words were he could have fired her for picking up the pone when he had customers. I suggested he should have fired her for selling us a couch under misleading information and basically stealing cushions off one of the additional pieces to give the appearance of this sectional being intact. I would take full responsibility for not checking closer on a piece of catholic charities (guess you can’t even trust church groups.). Stephanie should have been fired for lying to us for the almighty dollar and then hanging up on me twice in the dame day. Seems to be part of the training program, you fix your problem by hanging up on customers. So: BUYER BEWARE!!! On top of never buying anything from this “catholic” thrift shop I will NEVER donate to them again. If anyone wants to return my calls at the thrift store you have my number. Several years ago this store was very difficult to shop at, bad customer service, bad management and overall just a terrible experience every time I shopped here. I stopped shopping here. Just this past year, I went back to see if things had changed. They had, the entire store was overhauled, new paint, better organized and overall great prices on sale days. Saturday's were always 50% off everything in the store. The past few weekends this has stopped and everything is priced high. This past weekend we asked a couple people what the sales were because the sign was still being worked on. We were told that bric-a-brack was 50% off, so several items had tags that said bric-a-brack so we knew those would be discounted. We were also told that if we bought more than 10 media items (which we were), they would all be 50% off. We paid and left, not realizing that we didn't get a discount on the media items, but also not on any of the items we bought. When I called the store later in the day after realizing this error, I was put on hold for 10 minutes, then hung up on. This happened twice.

With the costs rising, this is no different than shopping at Goodwill who has insanely high prices as well. I'll find somewhere else that actually cares about getting my business and honoring the discounts they...

1 month ago, I would've given this store 5 stars, but they're now under new management, and the appalling changes that have been made reflects this review. First of all, I am aware of inflation and I do NOT begrudge any company the need to raise prices to adjust for inflation, nor do I begrudge them a healthy profit ESPECIALLY for charitable services. I have donated here and I have spent literally THOUSANDS of dollars here, but no more. They OVERPRICE their furniture items, and we're giving half off whi h made it a decent deal, but not anymore. Full price is INSANE! Not everything, but a lot. $300 for a painted ok quality dresser. $$300 for a corner ok TV stand. $300 + for a couch, $500 for a small table and chairs. Who do you think is shopping at these stores? We are families that can't afford to purchase new! We can't afford $300 for a couch that we can get for $50-$100 at a yard sale. The kicker is the items priced ABOVE the new price! $40.99 for a razor scooter, new is $29.99. $280 for a set of shelves that ikea, target, and Amazon all sell for $150!!!
