Danny’s In Tremont — Restaurant in Cleveland

We went after walking through Asian Lantern Festival. Needless to say, there was only one bartender working. The place was busy. We were able to get 2 seats at the bar, we waited a long time to get acknowledged. There was only one beer available on draft due to the taps not working and a lot of foam. The only one available was Blue Moon. I order the Expresso Martini. The beer came out first and my martini was made 5 minutes later. It tasted very weak. No prices on the menu & not worth the price of 17.00. Tried to order food. Advise her & she wash glasses instead. We ask for our bill & she stated don’t you want food? At this point, we were frustrated from being ignored. She stated it was her second day in the job. I suggest your place seems to get busy. Hire more employees. I write very few five star reviews, and to be precise very few reviews these days. However, the atmosphere, food, and service at Danny’s drew me to write this one. I moved to Cleveland in 2021 and Danny himself was one of the first people I met when apartment hunting. I am so thrilled that he’s able to take his passion for customer service and own this new spot. He is now inspiring his staff to be the best of the best. They were fully staffed with three bartenders when I dined, which is hard to do these days for a bar this size. That ensured I was well taken care of. The vibes were immaculate. Use to come here 1-3 times a week for the past year and loved it. It recently got bought out this past week. 0/10 recommend. The staff was unwelcoming. They gave our friends food to another table. We mentioned it and the bartender did nothing. On top of that, there was staff members running around taking pictures and videos of food being delivered… which is not a vibe. Old danny’s had a grudge homey tremont feel, this new danny’s is giving 22 year old vibe. So disappointed. I also want to add that my $10 cocktail was 100% ice and the burger was insanely dry and just simply not good. And they raised there prices and swapped out the chair with MILK CRATES!
