Very nice lady behind the counter. Be patient as she doesn't speak much English but was uber accommodating & tried hard to understand what I was asking (if granola was GF). Prices are good ($10 for a huge acai bowl, that in Knoxville would have cost me $15). My only "complaint" is it was WAY too sweet. I'm guessing the fruit has been coated in sugar then frozen, which made it past too sugary for my taste, as I think fruit alone is plenty sweet (some ppl might like this). The mango on top was fresh & yummy, the chocolate cacao was also good (& organic). I'd go back but order something different that was less sweet.
They also have a mini store of hygiene, supplement & clothing items but all labels are in Spanish so had no clue what most items were. Worth a trip for sure.
Only 4 stars because of overly sweet issue + bathrooms could use some stocking / cleaning. I would also like to have seen signs in English for the convenience...
Read moreAmazing juice!!! Detox is my favorite. Staff is pleasant and will make whatever you want. English is a second language, but it is easy enough to communicate your order in English or Spanish. Store has a surprising amount of dried medicinal herbs, which are hard to find in the area. Overall, it has become a must stop for me when I visit Cleveland weekly. They also make smoothie bowls, among other things. Many times, they have special offerings also. Always a treat. Don't forget to check out the Mexican grocery and dining counter next door....
