Stadium-Burgers, BBQ and Wings — Restaurant in Cleveland

The food is awesome! Absolutely delicious BBQ. Will continue to come back however not impressed by the service this last time I went. We ended up waiting a little over an hour for our food because apparently they didn't have enough help in the kitchen despite it being a dinner rush.... We were told by the waitress that they didn't have anyone to cut the brisket, which my family ordered having heard it was recommended. My advice is if it's on the menu maybe be prepared to serve it . Once we finally got our food, I asked if they had ranch and was told "sure"... Then 15 minutes later when the waitress never came back I asked again and she very angrily told me it would be a $.50 cents charge which honestly I would have offered to pay for if I hadn't had just been snapped at so rudely especially being that we had been patient for AN HOUR for our food. We could have easily asked for a refund and went somewhere else. I also recommend asking customers if they want ranch when ordering then you can easily charge them for it and it doesn't have to become such a stressful task for staff to have to explain later if asked. Not long after that, the waitress then began angrily cleaning all the tables around us and loudly moving furniture even though we were still eating. I checked their hours to see if we were infringing upon closing time only to realize they were still 2 hours from close! I'm not sure what was going on with the staff to cause such a problem but my advice is do not take it on the customer who has been patiently waiting an hour without complaining. I have worked in the food industry and I highly recommend taking a minute outside to calm down when things get stressful so that you don't take it out on paying customers. The other staff members are usually pretty calm and kind so maybe I just caught someone in a bad mood but just thought I'd share some thoughts. It's just ok. Not breathtaking or anything special from what I can tell. So lets start from the beginning. After spending sometime reading the reviews of this place, I was very hesitant to eat here and almost didn't, especially since people have claimed that have gotten food poisoning and other complaints like how the boss is creepy. So I asked a coworker if he had ever eaten here before and he said he had. He also told me it was was ok place to eat, liked the large brisket sandwich and that was the only thing he had ever gotten there. So I went on a Wednesday night and tried their $5 special for their large brisket sandwich. As I walked in about 5 or 6ish, it appeared like no one was working there and there were no customers. Seems kinda odd for a wed night. So after a few seconds the worker came up to the register. So I ordered the large brisket sandwich, and then I got asked if I wanted to upgrade the sandwich to a combo that comes with a drink and 1 side, I gave in, which I later regretted. I ordered the potato salad and got a hot slaw extra. The potato salad and hot slaw seemed like it was missing something. Like they didn't taste good at all. Now moving on to the brisket. The sandwich was a decent size and the meat fell out of it on the side. Like there was a lot of meat for the sandwich, which is a good thing. As I tried some of it, it was pretty tender but not quite there to where I thought it was mind blowing goodness. The meat from what I could tell had no smokiness, which I love. We pulled in the parking lot around 7pm on a Saturday night. (Store closes at 8pm) With it looking rather dead, we were a little apprehensive. SOOOOOO glad we decided to stay and try the food. The sauces.... I cannot begin to say enough about the variety and flavors of their house made sauces! Just IN-FREAKING-CREDIBLE! We ordered a few items to share. Half rack of ribs, Smoked chicken wings, Carolina Burger, green beans, okra, and banana pudding dessert. The ribs... Great smoke flavor. I even noticed the smoky flavor still in my mouth after we left. Coupled with the house sauces... Amazing! The wings... great size and portion. The burger... the patty had great flavor to it. I'm not a fan of hot slaw, so I scraped it off. Added a little of the BBQ sauce to it... it really didn't need it! The burger flavor stands alone! If I have to pick on one thing, the okra and green beans were decent. Would have liked to have tasted that smoke flavor in the green beans. The banana pudding... Not what were expecting...
