Brass Rail Pub 2 — Restaurant in Cliffside Park

Me having been in the this Cliffside Park neighborhood five year, I would walk past this local bar regularly. It wasn't until recently when I noticed some construction inside followed by a name change. It got my attention. I didn't actually go inside because of Covid safety protocols put in placed. Now that we have turned the corner on controlling COVID, am I glad I finally went inside!!!

Once inside Amy's genuine and warm greeting was a pleasant surprise and you know this place is different. Then immediately you notice the open area lofty feel and with everthing that is ANERICANA and a fan of American Sports bars. Brass Rail 2 has it all; a classic traditional newly constructed bar as you walk on the right. Two new midsize pool tables, the various wall mounted monitors that can be seen from all angles, a perfect located dart board and Amy told us a beer pong table exists. But wait there is more. While on the 5 cent tour Amy talked to us briefly about the new owner, Frank, and his vision of what a good local bar should be like. Well Frank, mission accomplished and then you come to find out he took it to another level by creating an outdoor oasis in the backyard gathering area comfortably filled with tables, chairs and heater for those cool spring and summer nights entirely cover but a gazebo.

Folks, Brass Rail 2 means business, they are built for you to come enjoy a beer watch baseball game on any of the monitors, play a game of pool, shoot some darts or just come and socialize with your friends, neighbors or even host a small party. Congratulations on building a nice local American Bar and bring it so close to my home. I'm looking forward to spending time there unwinding after a good days work. Welcome to the neighborhood...
