Beware of this place. I made an appointment to get a dress shortened, - no other work needed to be done, except for fixing the length. It was a time sensitive request, as I had a wedding event coming up in 3 days, and had to get the dress fixed before then. I was told it will cost me $160 for the job! This is more than I paid for the actual dress! I was ready to pay $80 tops for this work, given the urgency of my request, but $160! These prices aren't real! I was clearly being ripped off, as I have had this done for most of my formal dresses in the past, and know this does not cost more than $80. Even NYC prices are more reasonable than what I was charged at G&F Clothing - Frank the Tailor. I ended up driving off upset, because I felt like I was being taken advantage of, - I googled other tailors nearby, and surely was able to find another place, with a reasonable price of $68, for the same timeframe, which proved my point. I never leave reviews, but I have to leave this one as a public service. If you are in need of fast, quality service, then this is your spot. Frank and Linda open by appointment only and they give you their full attention during the appointment. Yes, this custom, high-quality tailoring is expensive, but you get what you pay for 😀. Also, there are no hidden costs and everything is explained in advance. They discussed my options with me and gave me the details of the costs before I agreed to anything. Frank and Linda are the best. They’re friendly people who will always try to do the right thing. They’ll give you their honest opinion so you don’t waste time or money. And they really are the experts so I’ll always defer to them.

Their craft/work is excellent too. I’ve had to get two items tailored in a rush and they pulled it off without flaws. And the best part, they charge a very fair price for their quality of work. I cannot recommend them enough.

Appointment only but take that as a good sign. They’re that good that people are willing to make appointments. And besides, they’ll do their best to work with your schedule.
