Wow!! First time having Luccis and I'll say - I'm excited to go back and order a custom pie l'm a vodka sauce snob. and this one was good! They decorate the shop with the cans of tomatoes so you know that sauce is homemade Sauce was chunky and flavorful. Sicilian slices were thick but damn l enjoyed the crust so much. Sesame seeds on the crust were a KILLER ADDITION to some of these slices. My job had actually placed a huge order here and I heard some good stuff so I'm glad I finally got to try it. Plus it's close to my house! This shop is small and there's not too much seating for a group larger than maybe 5-6. More 5-6 small tables of 2-3! Loved the old school style vibes here. everything from the graphics used as their logo to the feel of the shop just screams like "this is the hole in the wall spot to be" Semi-hidden on route 3, if you're driving too fast you'll miss it. But the lucky ones who stop for a slice during the sunset because rush hour on 3 is awful, they'll understand what this place is all about. Small family owned, the owner Tim is a gem! Def try the vodka sauce here!! I didn't try the cup and char pepperoni but that's definitely going on my custom pie...
Read moreA Margherita pizza, one of the simplest yet most iconic dishes in Italian cuisine, exemplifies the beauty of minimalism in food. Here’s a review that captures its essence:
The Margherita pizza is a symphony of three key ingredients: a perfectly baked thin crust, tangy tomato sauce, and fresh mozzarella cheese, topped with fragrant basil leaves.
The crust, ideally wood-fired, is both crisp and airy, with charred spots that add depth of flavor. The tomato sauce, made from ripe, high-quality tomatoes, provides a natural sweetness balanced by subtle acidity. The mozzarella, creamy and slightly salty, Finally, the basil adds a refreshing herbal note, tying all the elements together.
A well-made Margherita pizza is not just a meal but an experience—a reminder of the simplicity and authenticity of traditional Italian cooking. When done right, it’s a masterpiece that transcends its humble ingredients.
They Really made it perfect. For late nights It's...
Read moreThe pizza is great the service from the newer white blonde hair man working there now is disgusting. Never in the history of people buying pizza has there ever been a problem to ask for 2 square Pizza slices and ASK for 1 middle and the other middle slice connected to it...This employee said he picks whatever he wants I had to ask him 2 times to repeat himself because I was so shocked that he WOULDN'T just pick up the 2 slices...not to get confused but the pie already had missing slices so it wasn't fresh out to cause a problem maneuvering... The 2 latino and the Arab men who work at night are very friendly.. this blonde haired person had an attitude and acted like if you don't want it leave ....Great I left and found Taste of Tuscan right down the road and the service was great plus they let you pick ANY square slice from lathe pie... If the owner reads this today is 7pm September 14 2024 so you know who...
