Went in yesterday evening for valentines day and there were a girl and a boy about highschool age and ive only started coming here...it was our second time coming to bring our kids and although i absolutely loved this place the first time i came in it was just all girls working and they were very nice and helpful since it was our first time we had no idea what to order but regardless they were great and helped us out but yesterday evening for valentines we brought our kids & the boy and girl that were working here between the hrs of 6pm and 7pm feb 14th were VERY rude they made us feel like we annoyed them? I was so angry i just asked the boy to NOT mix everything together just the 2 scoops of ice cream and to put oreos and gummy bears on top and he kept asking questions but not in a friendly voice he acted annoyed at what i was saying and then the girl next to him with attitude said "anything else?" And since we walked in the door we could tell by the expression on their face that they didnt want to put up with customers. the whole time they tried to rush us like the place was full of people which it wasnt. Anyway I dont know who trains these kids but who ever trains them does a horrible job i dont care how tired you are from your shift or if you have personal problems but dont take that to your workplace specially when you have to deal with customers these kids with attitude need to learn how to treat customers or you will end up losing customers. if people go in and are looking around it's because they are either unsure or just need a bit of help so how about try and be helpful with a damn smile and actually use your friendly customer service skills for once. instead of acting like your annoyed i completely left angry from this place and those kids completely ruined our valentines night we came in happy because we were having a great day and we left in a really really bad mood i completely regretted coming to this place. Thanks for...
Read moreOn February 23, I placed a cake order for my grandmother's 89th birthday cake. On February 24, I called to ask if I could change the cake flavor from chocolate to yellow and I was told the cake was already made! The guy commented that it was strange they'd already made the order when it wasn't being picked up for nearly a week, he told me it wasn't a big deal, they could redo the order. When I arrived to pick up my cake, they'd given the chocolate cake that was made nearly a week ago. I called today and spoke to Dalton and he said that I wasn't told that and pretty much called me a liar. I asked if I could get a partial refund and he said he needed to talk to the manager and the kid about the order. Dalton called back today to inform me that his employees said they'd offered to remake the cake for 50% off which is something that was never relayed or previously mentioned. I told Dalton they'd lied and he said his employee would never lie, therefore, calling me a liar again. I would never recommend Cold Stone to anyone! I buy 5 cakes at minimum a year for all our birthday celebrations, it's sad but the experience was so horrible. AND to call a customer a liar is uncalled for, especially when it was the employees who lied to the boss, but hey they'd never lie, lol. The cake was horrible quality to boot, there were very few mix ins when we decided to cut into it, hardly any frosting. A complete waste...
Read moreI took my family into the store this evening to get ice cream and was appalled by the interactions I had with the teenage staff. When we walked in, there was a female staff member with pink and blue hair standing behind the counter talking to a boy on the other side (I assume a friend of hers) While another boy started to scoop ice cream for my family, I watched this girl take a DOG TREAT out of the display on the counter with her bare hand, take a bite of it, and then proceed to spit, multiple times, the chewed treat back into her hand! (Because it was a dog treat and obviously disgusting) Then with the hand she just spit in, she dropped what she spit out on the floor and then touched the counter with other food items on it and the lid which the dog treats were kept in. I said something to the kid who was helping us about what just happened and he and the girl both just laughed and completely dismissed my concern. While we sat and ate our ice cream I watched the same girl take blonde Oreos straight out of their container on the counter and eat them, lick the crumbs from her fingers and go right back to touching a spatula and blender. Her and one of the boys stood right at the counter and talked and laughed about my earlier complaint as if I couldn't hear them! This was my family's first trip to this location as we're new to the area and we absolutely will...
