My father went into this store 3/15/24 to upgrade his phone. I am the account holder but added him as an authorized user so he was able to get a new device without needing me there. He got a new phone, but the salesperson also added a new line to our account without my fatherâs knowledge. When I saw it was added, I gave it a couple of days because I thought there was maybe a glitch or mix-up somewhere. When the line didnât go away, I verified with my father that he did not add a line. He called the salesperson who told him he added the line to our account for additional savings; however, we already have 6 lines on our account and receive the maximum credit for multiple lines, which Iâm sure the saleman knew because he looked at the account to change the entire plan (which had previously served us well and was more than adequate). There also was no phone with which to use a new line. I called AT&T and had them cancel the line after verifying there was no additional savings, but when I got the monthly bill, I was charged a $35 activation fee for the line, as well as $15 for the days the line was on the account (never activated because, again, there was no phone associated with the line). AT&T was able to remove the $35 activation fee, but I was still on the hook for the days of service. The salesperson should have known that adding a 7th line would not give an additional discount. And I guess I should have known not to send a 74-year-old man to upgrade his phone without supervision â heâs not as sharp as he used to be, but simply upgrading his phone should not have resulted in a complete plan change, a new line, and a fun extra $150 on the bill. My father feels like he was taken advantage of. Now my bill has increased by $35/month (not including the new device installment cost), despite being assured the new plan will save us money, because the plan we were on is not...
Read moreThe employees are so great and go above and beyond for its customers! Out of nowhere on Thursday my phone stopped working, I would try to open my email, text messages, even google and all would crash. Their wasn't much that wasn't crashing. Only calling and a few selective apps were working, making my phone basically useless. I called AT&T tech support Thursday after they walked me through clearing my cache and it didn't work, tech support just told me to factory reset.
On Friday I went into Clinton AT&T to get a second opinion and to see what my options were if factory reset didn't work. The employee who helped me first (I can't remember his name) was really great telling me my options, while he was helping me, another employee named, Tayer Anderson, overheard my frustration with my phone and quickly started going through my phone trying to figure out what was going on, trying to make sure factory reset was the last option. I left my phone at the store so I could run some errands. And they continued working on my phone, going through any reason that could be causing my phone to work.
Even though they were unable to fix my phone, I appreciate the willingness to do whatever they could to fix my phone, making sure resetting was the last thing we tried, and appreciate that they never pressured me to buy a new phone.
The factory reset seemed to have fixed the issue, but if not for the helpful employees at Clinton at&t this would have been a much more frustrating process. I will definitely go to them for all my phone needs and will be back when I'm ready to replace my...
Read moreMy dad went into this store to purchase a new phone for me. I wanted the iPhone 13 Pro. I wasnât sure the colors they came in so I told my dad that I wanted either rose gold or pink. My dad told Antonio that he wanted the iPhone 13 pro in a rose gold or pink. Antonio said it didnât come in a rose gold but he had a pink phone. He showed my dad the phone and my dad said that pink would work. Antonio should have said the pro only comes in these 4 colors instead of showing us a phone we did not ask for. Especially without telling my dad that it wasnât the pro. My dad brought the phone home and I knew it wasnât the pro because of the amount of cameras. We took the phone back to the store to get the phone we asked for. Antonio lied to his manager and said that we were told it was the base model and not the pro. We were told we would have to pay a restocking fee to change phones. Antonio then said there is no different between the two, which is wrong. There is a significant difference between the cameras. We called him out on his lie, he said well it doesnât matter, turned from us and handed his manager the iPad to finish helping us. She was rude as well and wouldnât waive the fee. Antonio doesnât know his phones, seemed annoyed the whole time we were there and didnât care if we were satisfied. Do not go to this location!! We went to a different location to get the gold iPhone 13 pro and had much...
