I went today to get a smoothie, and I usually love this location. I have never had an issue with customer service or with my smoothies, but today I went for upsize Friday and when I first got to the window, she said she did not know my total but would still take my form of payment (I also gave her my phone with my barcode for rewards and to get my upsize) and when she handed me just a regular 20oz rather than my upsize, I asked her about it. She told me I did not tell her to which I responded that I do not usually (I also assumed me having the upsize reward scanned counted), but she asked me what I wanted her to do. I did not plan for any type of confrontation while there so I just told her I would keep that one, but she said âno but I didnât say that. I asked what do you want me to do? Do you want me to remake it?â and I said Iâd like that. She remade the smoothie and when I tried returning the 20oz, she said she would just throw it away anyways so I could keep it. We drove off. My friend tried her smoothie and said it did not taste as normal, so I tried mine, and it tasted unblended, so I opened it to find ice chunks and could see other things unblended in the bottom of it as they were plastic cups. I do not usually have such bad luck and felt like that wasnât the usual environment of this location, so I called and got the manager. He gave me options as to what we could do and asked if I could come in now or later and heâll save my name. I had time then so I went back for a refund and when I first asked for him, the other girl working inside acted as if she didnât know what man I was referring to (although he was the only one there). Once he came out to assist me, the girl who originally took and made my order came over and began to comment. She said it was only because I didnât get my original upsize to which I opened the smoothie to show her the ice chunks. She then proceeded to say âwell that was the free one anywaysâ. I do not know when you making something for free or not qualifies you to do it improperly but both of our smoothies were poorly made, and that was not a âfreeâ one but the correctly sized one as we tried to return the wrong one but she told us to keep it. I had an issue with the store. I message them on FB and it told me I had to send an email. Usually I would have just given up. But, I sent the email. I knew if they didn't correct this issue, others would have it and just not go again. That is not great for our local businesses so I kept on trying. After that email, I get another auto type reply that was suppose to be "real" but you could tell they didn't read the email. So, at this point I am just going to tell Smoothie King to DO BETTER!    Read moreThe smoothies are greatly made. Location is great BUT...if you're ordering from the app for curbside pickup, think again. I had a really bad experience where I placed an app order and wanted to do curbside. FYI, this experience happened on a busy, busy Friday where the drive thru line was long. Once the order was placed, the app stated that once I arrive, I can park in the front or a curbside order spot, call the store, and someone would come out with my order. I did all of those steps and no one answered my many calls; kept going to mailbox, which, of course, was full. Unfortunately, i forgot my mask and didnt want to go inside but i did in order to get my order. I was not pleased and all of the employees looked at me as if I was crazy. No one apologized. I did a feedback review and requested someone to call me back and no one did. If you really want one, go inside or use drive thru. And they need to remove the option of curbside pickup.
